Cant beleive the amount of Reds (So Called) who still continue to read the Scum & are well aware of everything involved. Have spoken indepth to some of them & they just dont care, to my utter disgust & amazement!

That includes me then, i am a shopkeeper and i do order it and sell it .

Course i have thought about not selling it and i hate selling it but you have to realise that if i dont sell it there is a knock on effect.

You obviously havent a clue about how a business runs, should i just stop selling the paper so and go from there?.

As much as i hate it, alot of people just come into the shop for that paper and they buy alot more, so if was to stop selling it i can easily say that i would loose hundreds each week and things are very tight at the moment without bringing that on me.

If i new that not selling it wouldnt loose me any sales i would be the first to stop it but as that isnt the case i have to keep it.

I bet any number of us here could profit from lowering our moral standards but that does'nt make it right. No one here including mods could blame you if it was gonna shut you down, but if your whole business depends on that rag, I hope they dont make lies in journalism a crime or your truely fcuked.

Unfortunately guys media companies need money.
Not that Im supporting the s*n in any way means or form

But RTE, TV3 etc will all do deals with the s*n.

TV3 is the worst hiring that f*ck McKenzie on the lunchtime show to do a newspaper review, Sky News do the same at Midnight, but thats Murdock for ya!

was just going to post that, sickening seeing the pic of Torres associated with them.

I find it hard to blame RTE all the same though, sponsorship is hard to come by these days and I guess they have to take what comes their way. back to MOTD for me though.

First day in college yesterday an we had to stand up in front of everyone, say your name and one fact about yourself. I said my name and I don't buy or read the S*N. Everyone laughed. A few people said they supported Liverpool as their personal fact so over the next few weeks I'm gonna see who knows what and what their thoughts are. A lot of people don't know about it and why would they unless someone tells them like.

I'm from Liverpool, Dad was at Hillsborough. He was gone by 1990 though so never really heard much about it from him. Too young really, I suppose, but me mum never told us anything about that papaer growing up and as a 10 year old all's you're arsed about is playin with your mates. Moved to Ireland then an still never told anythin about that paper. Few years later I'm asked to get a paper for someone. That paper. No problem, yeah I'll get that while I'm out. A woman says to me, didn't think you'd buy that paper after Hillsborough. Next thing somethin twigged in me head. Murder over somethin to do with a paper or papers. Never allowed to listen to anythin to do with Hillsborough though.

Anyway, had this woman never said anythin.... Well who knows how long I'd of been buyin that thing for. Nowadays my daughter goes around tellin people about it. Has done since she's been able to talk. at 11 though she understands like and is disgusted. Dunno why me, me brother an sister weren't told like but I wish we had been. Feel ashamed.

Picture me daughter drew is on here http://www.scousenotenglish.co.uk/#/hillsborough/4533475278

Thanks for sharing that mate, and a great drawing :)

Don't feel ashamed about finding out about Hillsborough later than you would have liked. A lot of people around then have found it difficult to talk about it.

It's how you deal with that knowledge since that is important. And by the looks of things you are raising a daughter to understand what is morally and ethically correct in this world (and indeed what is not). That is something to feel pride about.

Next time you're in your local shop, pick up a handful of other papers ( Indos, Heralds, Farmers Journals, whatever ) and lump them on top of that rag. Anything that reduces the rag's sales is a plus imo
