Always sad to hear of any loss of life to any sports player.

Last week there was a hurler who died in training in London called Cathal Forde. I would hope that in both these cases there was good medical attention available as we all know about the fabulous care that Fabrice Muamba received.

Immense gesture from Udinese captain Antonio Di Natale, who has taken guardianship of the severely handicapped sister of Piermario Morosini.

After the antics of those horrible c*nts today Di Natale has genuinely improved my spirits a bit. Amazing gesture and if Italy are to beat Ireland in June I hope its him that puts the ball in the net. Legend and total hero.

That is some gesture, fair play to him. Always liked Di Natale he's a super player, and I said we should sign him a few seasons ago. I like him even more now, as that shows that he's a genuine person too. Can't get over how much of a fantastic gesture this is.
