IV city and Spurs getting 90 or above and not winning it...
LFC ............... 94
Once it's not us I couldn't care less
The start of a big big week for us.
Spurs won't be getting above 90 points now
Huge, next Sunday LFC will know whether they're winning this league or not. 40 week season boils down to 1 week. 5 points the bare minimum in my opinion.
Don't think we can afford to drop 4 pts this week , I'd be looking for minimum 7

Indeed. Starting tomorrow, this week sets the tone and momentum for the rest season. Not sure 5 points will be enough mind given how City are playing and where it looks like their goal difference will finish.
If we drop 4 points, and get 5 (from 9), we can win every other game and still win the league. So it could be enough. City have been predicted in a different thread to drop more than 4 points in the rest of the season. There are 12 games left for us. 3 games won't decide 12, but it is a big big week for us.
I reckon city will breach 90 points but probably only just, said 92 would win it a few weeks ago and think it's still about right. Utd playing like that should be worth two points and hopefully Spuds get something too, just one more favour needed then. 26 points from 33 is hopefully still good enough but unfortunately when we get them is crucial, if we keep our noses in front I think City are more likely to drop points. They're capable of winning 11 straight but I don't see it unless they get a gap built up, we need to snap out of our 2019 malaise asap!
10 games left and City have 6 away and 4 at home.
We have 5 at home and 5 away.
Small details and all that. If we both keep getting results it might also help us reel in the GD
9 games left. City have 5 away and 4 at home. We have 5 at home and 4 away.
City away - Man United, Fulham, Crystal Palace, Burnley, Brighton
Liverpool away - Fulham, Southampton, Cardiff, Newcastle
City home - Watford, Cardiff, Spurs, Leicester
Liverpool home - Burnley, Spurs, Chelsea, Huddersfield, Wolves.
1 point in it, it's not over.
Really wish there was a game midweek just to get back into it straight away. Next Sunday seems a long time away now.
first quarter LFC got 8 wins, 2 draws.
second quarter 9 wins, 1 draw.
third quarter 4 wins, 4 draws, 1 defeat.
unless they get back to the form of the first or second quarters it's not going to happen unfortunately.
city are 8 wins and 2 draws
7 wins and 3 defeats
8 wins and 1 defeat, much more consistent.
sure we'll see what happens.
If man city beat swansea and progress to the fa cup semi final, after that weekend ( 6th of April ) we'll have played 2 extra league games we'll need to be 5 points clear of them to have a chance because their fixtures will start to build up with champions league semi final around then aswell
Yep mate if we win our next 4 games up to Southampton away on the Friday night we will be at a minimum 5 points ahead having played 2 games more. City will then have the following run of games,
6/4 FA Cup Semi (more than likely)
9-10/4 Champions League Quarter 1st leg
14/4 Palace away
16-17/4 Champions League Quarter 2nd leg
20/4 Spurs home
24/4 Man U away
28/4 Burnley away
30/4 1/5 Champions League semi 1st leg
4/5 Leicester home
7-8/5 Champions League semi 2nd leg
12/5 Brighton away
Obviously if we are still in the Champions League we will have tough games too but our run at the same time looks far more manageable than theirs.
They're going to drop points, we are going top win our last 9 games.
We're gonna win the league.
