I also thought the same, except I went a bit further thinking he was injury prone, hadn’t played properly in 6 months and would take a while to settle in. Good job I don’t get paid to make the big decisions at our club.

Xabi Alonso - Cant see a little known basque player making it abroad. Since the Ox, I've had complete faith in Klopps signings even though I've known little to nothing about most of them. I thought Andy Carroll would be a superstar. I was over the moon when we signed Litmanen. He always looked good when he played but just didn't work out.
Seems like he's giving Frank Lampard a run for his money with effective blocked/sliced shots at goal. Keep it up Virgil
