How are people travelling for this? Struggling to get the Monday off, the 10pm Manchester flight is steep.

I'd hardly make the 20.20 from Manchester to Dublin would I?

I'm after getting two tickets for this but flights seem like a fukn nightmare. In the extremely unlikely event that someone has two flights that they're no longer using please do let me know. Really want to go and don't want to let up on these fix.

Early flight to Birmingham is €12.99

Eurolines or sail and rail can still be booked for value travel home.

Depends on what time your flight is. National Express goes from Liverpool One or there are trains that go too.

Do the trains go and not stop in Manchester City centre? My friend reckons they don't stop, but most trains I've checked seem to stop in the city.

Most trains services will stop in Manchester Piccadilly, Oxford Road or Victoria after it leaving the airport

opted for later bus to Dublin airport.. don't hit terminal until in and around 6 am.. cutting it tight for the 07:05am Liverpool flight. But those two extra hours in bed will be invaluable later in the day!

At that time it might be better to go through T2 security. I arrived at the airport at 0530 last Saturday for a 0630 flight and had loads of time to spare. Was through security in 5 minutes.

didn't realise you were allowed to do that? so you can go through security in T2 even though your departure gate is T1? whatever is the quickest route to the departure gate I'd be up for.
