It will depend on the table, they can only stop themselves, if they increase the lead they will walk away it.
Thought my eyes were deceiving me watching sky sports news but Oxlade-Chamberlain scored a stoppage time winner for Celtic. Had no idea he signed for Celtic.
I'd be afraid of the new manager bounce and guys playing for their place in the side, home game, we're first up etc. They were shite under Dyche and going through a very low period. I think they can only be better against us now.
4 point lead for Arsenal...current Citee are far from the Citee team we had to compete against but no way this is over yet, as some have been saying. Would love to see Arteta and Gabriel's faces if they don't win this
Got a bollocking off my da when I got back from Liverpool at the weekend for us gifting city 3 points! He thinks it's city's now, I think he might be right!
Guehi and Semenyo could be the difference. Senenyo in particular has scored or assisted in nearly every game since he signed
I’ve not changed my opinion all season that I think City will win this league Their experience from March to May is key It would be nice to see Villa stay in the hunt but bitter sweet as it should be us there
Obviously more gutted that we don't have skin in the game ourselves, it won't be us winning it that's for sure. But it would be pretty funny if Arsenal managed to fcku it up from here.
I still think Arsenal will win it. It will be as much down to the relatively poor standard of City as it will Arsenal's quality, but a better team with a 4 point head start in what's a 12 game sprint from here? Id be betting on them.
I agree with all of that and the odds are still with Arsenal, but it's about pressure now, they have dropped 7 points out of the last 15 available and they still have to go to City. City added two good players to their squad in January and have their tails up at the moment. Assuming just for a second that City beat them at home, which will be a must win from City's perspective, we are looking at one point lead from 11 games. Definitely not over yet.
The difference with previous title races has been mentioned, City aren't as good. Where this will manifest itself most is in the game with Arsenal. We would all would have that as a home banker in years gone by, I don't see them beating them this time.
I think the big difference for me is the experience that City have in recent times of getting it done down the stretch, they've no pressure on them, in some ways they were never meant to wins this way. Arsenal are like us a few years ago with the weight of expectation hanging around our necks to deliver the title.
I don't see that game where they play each other as big a factor as others do. Obviously a win for Arsenal would be a huge result in terms of who wins the league, but even if City win I see Arsenal getting more points than them over the other 11 games. Looks like an easier fixture list to me,and City give up too many chances. That's not to say City's more attacking mindset can't be a benefit in the run in, I wouldn't rule out it giving them the edge if Arsenal's caution and reliance on set pieces costs them points, which again is very possible,I just think its less likely. I hope City win it though.
