They have to win it. Can't be having Utd finish 15th or 16th and still get CL.

Would love to see Utd lose but I'm usually pessimistic when it comes to them and despite their recent record against Spurs, I reckon they'll get the win this time

Think United will win. They have Fernandes who is a big game player. Can’t think of anyone for Spurs who is near his level

Yeah Utd win this game unless something silly happens, I wouldn't trust Spurs if they were 2 up in the 90th minute here.

Insane how strong the PL is that you've two of the worst teams in the Premier League at the top of the second tier competition and Arsenal making it to the Semi Finals. It's just a pity the way games fell for us in such short succession because we're the best team in Europe by a long way, I think Barca might have caused us problems and Inter would have been tough but I think we get through both if both teams play to their ability.

The Europa League isn't what it used to be. This is the 1st year of the new format, so there are no Champions League teams in it. 10 of the last 15 finals have had at least 1 team that played in the CL that year, and 5 of them won the cup. Same with Conference league, Chelsea would have got there anyway, but there were no teams dropping down from EL into this year. The new format also screwed us with the draw in the CL knockout, so lots to be considered when reflecting on the strength of various competitions. With that said, I do think the PL is the strongest it's ever been and outside of the bottom 3 this season no matter if you were playing home or away there was a chance you'd get done in by anyone else. The level of spending now too in the PL is gone to a whole new level, Bournemouth spend more than all the teams in europe outside the PL except for Juve, Bayern, Barca, Real and PSG. And looking at net spend, since 2015 the only non-PL clubs ahead of them are Barca, Inter, AC, Juve and PSG.

I fancy Spurs to win it. Two piss poor teams but I think they have the mental edge. Already beat Man U 3 times this season and I think the "Ange always wins something in his second season" narrative, can help them with the mental baggage of being Spurs.

They should just cancel it, horrible advertisement for the cup having that pair in the final.

Has there ever been a final where both teams lost?

The team in 17th (Spurs) have a plus goal difference. That is crazy.

15th v 16th wasn't good enough for either of them, they wanted to ensure it would be 16th v 17th just to really underline that this rule change wasn't the greatest idea.

Man Utd have lost 18 (EIGHTEEN) league games this season.

Nb:this could increase to 19 (NINETEEN) as they have one game left

If they don't win their last league game they'll be on less points after 38 games than they were when they were relegated in 1974.

0.92 - Ruben Amorim has won 24 points in 26 Premier League games, a points per game ratio of 0.92. This is lower than Paul Jewell's Premier League points per game (0.94), who managed 24 winless games at Derby when they finished on 11 points in 2007-08. Concerning.
