Wouldve loved to see Watford get a draw, and not just for the obvious reason of having City drop points.

Might just have shown every other team in the league that regardless of the total wankfest the commentators give it game in game out about how amazing City are, they CAN be got at. So many teams are playing City now just hoping to keep it respectable, and are willing to take a "valiant defeat". Watford had a go at them for the last 10 minutes and scared the bejesus out of them.
Suddenly Ederson wasnt fannying around playing little triangles in his own 6 yard box - and by the by, I'm not a profesional coach but even I can see how they work their play out from the back, tippy tappy around until one of them can play the exact same ball every time to Bernardo Silva, they mustve done it 6 times in the second half. Have someone close HIM down while theyre doing their tippy tappy for Robbies sake. Force them to do something different.
I know its easy for me to say to do that, but when so many of their attacks seem to originate in the same way you'd imagine opposing coaches might want to do something about it. You could say "sure they'll just do x,y or z if you stop that out ball" - fine! make them do something else. When Watford finally pushed up on the backline and nulified that out ball, City looked nervous. Whens the last time Pep brought on an extra CB to see out a game?

We can only hope its given other teams the notion that you can try beat City, you dont have to just settle for a mauling because they are City.

I just think he has an inside track at united and he has been told in no uncertain terms that if he criticizes the team the tap will be turned off and he will get nothing. It's the only way I can think he can act like that. I totally understand it from the club's point of view but Neville is risking his credibility as a pundit.

Now I hope they get a draw tonight, would be the perfect result.

Are the seats too expensive or what? Surely the best Spurs team in decades can muster more than 33,000 for a home game? I'd hate to see what they'd be getting if they were mid table or lower

The capacity of Wembley is reduced for most of their games to 51k as there's a max number of times a year Wembley can have it's full 90k in there. With that being said, I think a lot of fans are boycotting it because they're annoyed over the delays to the new stadium. Plus the cost of tickets, the match was designated a Category B game.

He's going to be down an awful lot of money overall if this only happened for the first time since 2010!

He got odds of 322.5 to 1. If he was backing this every week since it last hit he'd have bet 304 times (303 losers) so he'd still be up 19.5 times his stake which is 39 euro.

It's a lot of effort to be doing this for 8 years to just win 39 euro though, so I probably wouldn't bother with it myself.

I stand corrected, a very nice return! €39 on a €608 investment over 8 years!

I also assume his bet is not strictly PL only and it's 10 from 10 which has not happened in 8 years, his bet is just 8 matches which probably comes in a hell of a lot more.
