this seems to be getting odder by the day. Fearful there will a Shaq style unexplained absence which ends up very long term

Looking at the tackle he was on the end of in the Everton game I am not sure there is anything odd about it at all myself.

Yep, fair point - but why no comment; no explainer

The odd thing for me was Klopp had not ruled him out before the Sheffield game, which was only a week after he got done by that big nose twat, but that was nearly 4 weeks ago.

His continued absence has to be a concern. Don’t like it when there is no update on a players injury situation. Used to happen regularly with Agger and Sturridge. Usually meant there was something up that they couldn’t get to the bottom off.

hopefully he just magically appears in squad for Brighton

The injury which he received must have been a lot worse than we all thought. Klopp said yesterday that he won’t be involved against Ajax or Wolves which is a shame.

I said he was injuryprone before he came, whether it be a self inflicted injury or by caused by opposition, but the length of this absence is annoying & puzzling...he played on after the tackle so I just dont know what's up. Did he get another injury since, we can only guess...

Ok - just for my own sanity.....

can someone please confirm.....or refute, that we DID in fact sign Thiago.

    I didnt dream it.....right?

Half expecting a Manc or Chelsea fan to walk up to me, point, burst out laughing and say "you actually thought you had signed Thiago?!?!?"

    Sorry pal,

But I'm blaming you for the latest news - Thiago was going to be fine, until you posted the comment above, and put a jinx on him ;)

Liverpool are hopeful of having Thiago Alcantara in the mix for a first team return at the back end of this month. according to Kevin Palmer.

If he does play by the "back end of the month", that'll be ten weeks out. We could have done with him badly in one or two of those frustrating drawn matches.

If we buy a center back well be adding two of the top 5 midfielders in the world back to our team. Our options in midfield could be freighting
Hendo thiago fabinho gini Curtis keita ox milner shaqiri and minamino.
