Think it’s more than just this incident , don’t both Barca and Madrid treat the FA constantly with lack of respect for years .

    Hi,

I agree with Ed on this, I think the Spanish FA have acted in haste and I cannot see how it will benefit their team - in fact, I imagine it causes more disruption than anything else (although granted, there may have been a risk of Real players being shown a bit of favoritism during the WC in terms of game time or playing positions I suppose).

No doubt that Real and their new manager have been disrespectful and unprofessional, but it might have been better if the Spanish FA tried to enforce any notice period that was in their former manager's contract etc. and make Real wait to get what they want, even if that meant paying the bloke to clean the players boots rather than coach them for the remaining period.

Thoughts on Rui Patricio being on a free but will want massive wages. I think he's a better option than spending the 52m release clause that Jasper Cilliseen has at Barca

I started to keep an eye out for him since Christmas. The thing I noticed was a great shot stepper bit dissent seem to like to catch the ball. Also dissent command his box or tend to come from crosses.
I said as much at the time and that Id prefer Oblak
Others on hear have been critical of his distribution. This seems a key area for our keeper to have.
I could be a bit over harsh to avoid disappointment if we don't sign a new keeper.
Either way, he is still a massive improvement on what we have.

I really hope this isn't the start of the Echo trying to soften peoples stance on Karius because they know something we don't, which they usually do in fairness.

The way I see it is it's quite easy to disseminate what he knows and what's opinion in that piece(actually all of Pearces articles and in this one he comes across to me as thinking it would be a mistake not to buy a goalkeeper). Nobody is going to change their opinion of what we need based on James Pearces opinion and if writing the stuff he knows is seen as the echo trying to soften people's stance then what's the alternative, not writing what he knows?

Nobody is going to change their opinion based on what is written in the Echo? Where did I say is there an alternative needed? Taking a few leaps with what I said there.

Where did I say nobody is going to change their opinion based on what is written in the Echo? I said nobody is going to based on James Pearces opinions after you queried whether the article was an attempt to soften Liverpool fans stance on whether we needed a new keeper. And when I asked what's the alternative to him writing what he knows,I meant in order to avoid being accused of trying to soften our stance. It was me giving opinions in response to your post that ended with a question. What leaps have I taken?

Piss off both of ye, the Echo is clearly trying to brainwash the masses, you probably don't believe that the stone masons run the world either. Dumb lizard people.
