There will be players brought in January to consolidate the team for the short term as Klopp will, by now, know what he needs & urgently to stop this team from falling apart...Nothing is being said or leaked as to keep prices down to the club's expectations otherwise the selling clubs will be demanding higher fees knowing that we have money to burn.

What's your source on these factual statements or is it just a hunch you have being presented as a fact?

Early days I know but I think its reasonable to assume Klopp is not Benteke's biggest fan, bringing on Origi before him and leaving Firminio standing around doing nothing for so long on Sunday is enough evidence for me. With Ings out, Sturridge unreliable and Benteke not trusted I'd like you see an out of the box type loan signing, either someone out of favor or a Jari Litmanen type with not many miles left on the clock.

Like everything else, just a hunch as makes sense to do so...even a blind man can see that's the case!

    We live in hope.

l can't see a marquee signing in January. 1) players are not available. 2) we don't spend the cash for marquee signings.

This Serbian lad, Grujic may very well sign and whilst l think it is important that we try to sign the next big thing, at the same time it's getting a bit boring.

l'd love to see us sign Subotic but personally l wouldn't be holding my breath.

Who are you thinking yourself ?

Personally if we're going to sign big, l'd want a goalie.

Definitely a keeper and a centre mid. I'd be concerned about Hendersons fitness

If Henderson is going to miss significant time this season then we really do need a CM player but I can't see it happening in January.

I hope we only sign cnuts from now on. 1 to 11 eleven there isn't a current player, opposition players would not enjoy playing against.

Someone big and powerful to get stuck in. Two many wimps in the current squad.

Look at the teams who have bullied LFC off the park in recent weeks. No one in current squad to mix it up. They just lie down and take it.

I'd rather we stick with our own game plan and try sign a few world class football players and forget about this fighting West Hams with physicality, we need an entire new squad if we're going for a Stoke type game plan.

Ideally we need about four of those type characters mate, but a strong CM & CB would be a good start. We need these type of players not just to sort out opponents, but also to help give some of our own a bit of leadership, or even a kickin' from time to time.

Stoke playing good stuff at moment. We will do well to finish above them.

And to be fair to them they have stopped playing football the "Stoke" way that I was referring to, even they have seen the light on this!

I think the 'Pulis Way' is a more accurate description.

Not talking about people to break legs, someone powerful with energy in the absence of Henderson. West Ham and Watford have some absolute tanks in their teams. Deeney had some quotes in the aftermath of their win about them knowing LFC would lie down and you can see it each away game. Great results against Chelsea and City away but look at those in isolation, Chelsea are in the bottom half and the City defence was absolutely abysmal on the night and had no fight in them.

They are basically playing the way we played against city n Chelsea. Bojan where firmino played. Shaqiri and aunotevic (spelling) where coutinho n lallana played.

Doesn't seem to work as well for us at home though. Credit to Hughes though, he is a decent enough manager to be fair. United could probably do worse.

I said on here when he was at Celtic that we should have chased wanyama and we didn't. Southampton got him cheap, he had played well for Celtic in CL against top opposition and he is a decent player. Might not be the slickest passer in the world but he will run all day and can leave a leg in when needed. He doesn't seem ask that happy at southampton.

I reckon Sissoko at Newcastle would be a solid signing. Would play better in a better team. Kouyate from West Ham always seem to cover a lot of ground for West Ham and has plenty of presence.

Neither are world beaters however would provide more than Allen or Lucas. I am sick at looking at both of them to be honest
