I don't understand this manouvere your referring to, end day they're son was brutally killed and have been fighting for justice for long time. Mary Lou was forced into it I'd say, as she was on one show with Pat Kenny (I think) denying anything was ever said by Murphy. Fast forward 24hours she admitted it was wrong wat she came out with. Also Murphy came out said that he spoke to people involved or knew who was involved. So why not pass this on, everyone deserves justice. I'm not having a go at you or anyone.
They've tried in vain for 13 years to get that apology with no success and used a situation when Sinn Fein were at their most vulnerable to put pressure on them and SF had no choice in the face of a PR disaster the week of an election other than to apologise which they did.
I see that more of them taking advantage of the situation afforded to them during the election. I didn't realise Babbs and Shane were already commenting on this, both of them have put it much better than I have. So I'll leave it at that.

Simon Harris was on Pat Kenny this morning answering questions. To be fair to him he was impressive and gave me the impression that the correct measures are being taken. Not that the measures being taken will necessarily be able to stop it spreading here,but more so that what's being done is a reasonable response when you weigh up the practicalities of the situation.
must be like a footballer coming to the end of his contract suddenly pulling up trees, the only reason he would be impressive is to cling on to his ministerial role if Leo jumps in to bed with Michael. if he came up with the cure for the virus I still don't think it'd be enough to save him, he'll be in the wilderness for a few years one way or the other.
