It appears that for a long time he's wanted to own a kind of financial superstore, that people use for all their financial transactions. He tried it before with a company called X.com, that was struggling to get any kind of foothold. The investors forced him into a merger with Peter Thiel's company, that eventually became PayPal. He then tried to change the name of PayPal to X.com, despite research showing people hated it and it would damage trust in the brand. He's obviously obsessed with the name, because apparently he paid to reaquire the X.com domain name in 2017,and is now happy to throw away the brand recognition that Twitter has built up over the last 15 years, which would be mad in normal circumstances, but seems even more mental for a company that's already lost 50% of its advertising revenue since he took over. When he tried to dump the PayPal brand, there was other people who had the clout to stop him harming the company. But now he's in a position where if he slammed his cock in a car door, he'd be told what a genius move it was, and he's got total control.

And to add to that, he's going to call videos on Twitter/X "X Videos", so to help, he's suspended the account xvideos and plans to take that over as a twitter/X handle. And, to continue his obsession with "X" he founded SpaceX, and then he named his son "X" (who he created a verified twitter/X profile for and then uses that as his own alt porn account).

I was actually being serious about that! Just search "Elon Musk alt accounts reddit" and you'll find some threads with them listed.

Jesus Christ. I worry sometimes that I could 50 or so years left in me if God is good.

Mbappe is playing for X.com in Saudi is it? I can't figure it all out at all

Just reading there that Musk wasn't happy with Grok. Apparently the artificial intelligence was facts and evidence based, and facts and evidence are "woke". So he changed it to become more right wing, and within a day Grok became a nazi. It's calling itself MechaHitler and being among other things, wildly antisemitic(actual antisemitism, not what Zionists pretend antisemitism is). The world's dumbest genius strikes again:)

I can recommend a great book about history of information and our possible future with AI from Yuval Noah Harari - Nexus.
    Very good read.

Big Pharma like every major industry,is full of capitalist scumbags, but I don't buy into that conspiracy theory. There's numerous diseases that pharmaceutical science has found cures for, and they still make gigantic profits from the medicine that they developed to do it. A vaccine literally exists now that could eliminate cervical cancer. I saw a thing once where somebody explained that early deaths due to cancer, actually generate less profit for big pharma than if that person had the average lifespan. And it made sense, the same way the average smoker costs the taxpayer less on healthcare than the average non smoker.

You can't sell to dead people. Keeping them alive and selling them more amd more into their 90s is an obvious winner.

Elon Musk is in the Epstein files, emails released from him almost begging to come to "party" on the Island, so I thought I'd ask Grok about it. Safe to say it's been instructed to do PR for Elon. Insists on providing information you're not asking for, and quotes Musks denials of any visit ever taking place in every reply, even when you explicitly as it not to. Asked it for a one word reply, either yes or no to the question did Musk express interest in visiting the island after Epstein's conviction for procuring a minor for sex, and it's literally not capable of doing it,you get the same waffle and denials. ChatGPT answered simply "Yes" within 3 seconds. Showed Grok ChatGPT performing this very basic task of answering yes to a demonstrable fact that Grok agrees is a fact, and Grok replies it has to provide balance. Billions and billions spent on an AI model that can't distinguish between balance and PR.

Just checked Google Gemini there and they're rattling him out big time too. Even threw in a bit of slander about how hypocritical he's been in his denials of it in the past.

I know very little about chat gpt and the likes, if you asked them the same questions about trump what answers would you get?

Depends what question you ask. As far as I know Trump had fallen out with Epstein by the time of his first conviction for being a nonce, so if you ask the same question as I asked about Musk you won't get the same answer. But if you asked something like "Did Trump lie about how often he flew on Epsteins plane?", it will tell you the truth which is obviously yes. Whereas Musk has his finger on the scales of his AI model which completely compromises it as a tool.

A lot of chat online about Crypto and Bitcoin. Its having a bad run apparently and a lot of people saying things aren't looking good.

I had 14 euro left on my Revolut at one point last year and converted it to Bitcoin, thinking it would be a good way to follow how it's trending, just out of pure curiosity(I'd never invest any type of sizable amount in crypto). At one point it went up to about 16 euro but today it's below 9. I know the big believers in it aren't supposed to worry about the ups and downs, but if that was thousands, hundreds of thousands or even millions instead of just 14 euro, you'd have to be a bit worried today:)

Missus invested 50e about 3 years ago. It was down close to 20 at one point and as high as 75 at another. My uncle invested 100k around the same time, had a similar journey and bailed out as soon as he got his money back. Defo money to be made if Peter Mandelson and the likes are in your phone book.

In December 2024, one of those Predictor things for year ahead that had got some things right in 2024 predicted that XRP would go through the roof.

I put a few quid in Jan 2025 for interest with Revolut and even though it had gone through the roof for previous 2 months, that was its peak until March when it levelled and then there was a big increase in July after some cases was to be settled with SEC and Trump was behind it. Sold most of it to get my money back and left the rest in there to see what it would do and it’s plummeted since then. Its nose dived in last two weeks.

I was following a few accounts on social media for first half of last year tracking it but it’s no different than backing football or horses but with nothing to watch.

a few elites at the top making a killing

I don’t buy shares as it’s another form of betting with no fun but do follow some of the big gainers. Palantir is one that sky rocketed first half of last year but now has lost 27% in last six months.
