Berlin had also been somewhere that popped up too. I'd like to go somewhere where we could either get a game in or at least do a stadium tour of a well known ground. Germany has always been a place i've wanted to visit for a weekend. I flew to Frankfurt in May before the Europa League final but unfortunately didn't see anywhere other than the airport and metro. Let me know how Berlin goes Stevie and thanks for the reply.
The Grasshopper bar is in the centre of Amsterdam and is great for food and a few cold ones. Its a bit pricey and not the type of place you'd stay all day but definitely worth a visit. Good atmosphere in there. I suppose the Red Light District is worth a stroll through as well
Brother asking me where do I want to go for mine.....debating chancing opening weekend of the season to see can we manage to get a home game for the first time in a couple of years.
Ha yeah seen that the other day, if wait and doesn't work out though means short notice to organise something. Tempted to chance it alright though.
Decent city. Seen both stadiums. Hotel was only 2 mins from the Millennium stadium, would have loved to have been to some of our great days there.
Any of you guys that've been to a stag or even a holiday in Prague in around January? Organising a stag in January and was almost set for booking, but I've read some grim posts about the weather that time of year, would it take away from it much, I'm sure most of it's gonna be indoors anyway! Failing that is there anywhere else you guys would recommend as a good spot for a January stag?
I was in Prague for a Stag in Jan 08, very cold so needed a decent jacket for going from pub to pub but other than that it was a great weekend. Definitely recommend it mate
Nice one mate, thanks for that, I'm kinda snookered for the time of year it is but seems to be the place interesting most of the lads going too so I don't think many are bothered about the weather once the beers are flowing and there's a good vibe to the place
