Huge boost for us. Feeling confident we can keep up the pre-international break form.

Reckon they’ll go 3 at the back, to try and combat our 3, with trippier and Davies/rose dropping to help. Midfield 3 of dier, Erikson and Dembélé with moura supporting Kane

    For us:

    —————-Alisson—————
    TAA—Gomez—VVD—-Robbo
    —Milner——Hendo—-Keita—-
    Salah———-Bobby——-Mane

We could potentially see Fabinho in the team tomorrow to curb the threat of Eriksen. Looking forward to this game. Our depth on the bench could be the deciding factor

Nervous about this game after last years fiasco. It's all about the start to the game for me.

Keep Eriksen and Kane quiet for the first 20.

Midfield is where this game will be won and lost. Hopefully Kieta is on it, I think with the size of the Wembley pitch, he could do real damage running with the ball.

    I'd go
    Allison,
    TAA, Gomez, VVD, Roberston
    Henderson,
    Milner, Kieta
    Salah, Firmino, Mane

Gini, Shaqiri and Sturridge great options of the bench if things are going wrong.

Would ease Fabinbo in during CL games.

    I’d swap Wijnaldum for Henderson

I have Hendo starting as well. it's harsh on Gini but my thinking was he has already played the most minutes out of all our midfielders and played the most international minutes as well...

I'm trying to join the optimistic side but what exactly makes you think they're there for the taking?

I'd be optimistic about a win once we turn up. Spurs are missing two big players and rumours Kane needs a rest. Need to hit them from the off.

Maybe not there for the taking but it's a definite advantage to us with their keeper and one of their best players both being out. I'd say Spurs tails would be up if we were missing Alisson and say Mane

Yeah it's a help alright but it's still a bloody hard game this one. Be unbelievable if we got a win and a draw is a great result too.

While I’d settle for a draw tmr even though I think we could hockey them if we win and open up a 6 point gap in them at this stage of the season would be massive imo.
All though a mate said to me earlier be wary of them they could do what we done for years lose to watford and then ten hammer a big team

Delli Ali out, the loris situation, spurs game vs Watford plus I think we really have learned a lot of lessons from last season,

"After we win at Old Trafford, we lost at Watford and we were bad," Pochettino said. "But after Manchester United, all the signals from the team were that we were going to crash.

"And of course, I am guilty because I saw that, but I cannot change that situation."

They just beat united and then he expected them to crash and burn ??
    Fatigue ?

Maybe the insane high of a rare huge win away at OT followed by the somewhat mundane game against Watford. You often see it when a team wins a cup game they're not expected to win and they celebrate it like they've won the cup, they almost always fall flat in the next game.

Don't think they'll be similarly lethargic today but we might just be better than them, Kane and setpieces has me worried but I expect a good contest today.
