Saw that flight was a good price but didn't book it, thought I wouldn't make it to the airport. After the Brighton game, left the ground straight away after the final whistle hopped in a taxi about 5 mins later, and only arrived to the airport 20 mins before my flight which was due to take off at 22:15. Traffic was absolutely mental.

Ah I'd be well confident of making it.

Take it you still made the flight after Brighton ye?

That's nuts to take that long to get to the airport from the ground. I walked back into the city after Brighton and got a bus and was in the airport for just gone 9pm for that flight.

Yes you will well make it in a taxi. I would be confident of making it by bus myself for that flight never mind a taxi.

Just wondering if anyone is heading to Manchester Airport after this game? Flying back to Dublin with my son on the 8pm flight. My normal taxi guy isn't in the business any more, so before I do some more searching thought I'd just ask if there's a share available. Thanks.

Our driver must have went a long way then, although he did really put his foot down when he heard we could be late. The taxi was 30 pound.

Best place to get a taxi for the airport imo is to head down to Everton valley and the taxi will head across the city. If you walk the opposite way when you come out of the ground I find you do run into traffic.

Swerved the Saturday morning sailing and went for the Eurolines over Friday night and few hours kip in the Internation Inn

    €62

I'm on the 8pm flight also with my son and I have booked a taxi with Delta to take us to Manchester Airport straight after the game. Happy to share the cab if you wish?

Thanks Diarmaid. I booked a taxi with a company called MCLK Travel just yesterday; might as well stick with it at this stage. Enjoy the game.

Scrap that - just got Ryanair email saying I can check in for my flight to JLA Friday night. Don't remember booking it but how and ever.
