We should be back to near full strength for this one with the exception of Clyne.Southampton were a difficult team for us last season but be very surprised if it the same this time around.Coutinho should be available for this one and with Lallana also back he probably starts on the bench.I'm going for this thanks to SDS REDS for ticket going over Fri-Mon so anyone here want to meet up before or after game for drinks will be much appreciated. My Score Prediction 3-0.

First game in Anfield in a few years for me - looking forward to the trip and hopefully 3 points.

Saints players will be up for it, eyeing a move to Merseyside as they do every year. Be interesting to see what lineup Klopp goes with, hopefully the South Americans in particular get through the England match unscathed.

Nearly a full squad fit to chose from and just in time for a very congested fixture list ahead of us.

    ....................Mignolet

Gomez - Matip - Lovern- Moreno

    Wijnaldum - Can -Henderson

    Salah - Firmino - Mane

Think we might see Henderson from the bench and Milner or Chamberlain to start
Even might see Mane on the bench with Sturridge starting

Lemina Out for Southampton is a big loss for them .

Really looking forward to this game now, on TV tomorrow at 3pm on Sky too and hoping to see us build on our recent decent results. We've a big game on Tuesday to worry about too (as well as next Saturday) but I think Klopp will go strong in all these games. With Lallana and Mane very close to being fully fit again our first 11 is very tough to predict.

The additions of Salah, Ox and Solanke and Milner moving to the middle with Robertson as backup at FB will hopefully make a telling input as we go into a period where two games a week becomes the norm. I think our full squad looks very good now with lots of different options

Hopefully with a nearly full fit squad available we can do the business and get another 3 points. Busy period coming up so need to start gathering up the points.
Will be over at this, its the first 3 O'clock sat kick off for me in many a year - back to the old days!!

These have scored 3 times in the league at Anfield in 13 years. The scorers-
    Clyne
    Mane
    Lovren

I wouldnt mind seeing a Van Dijk goal in a 4-1 win for us :)

Hard to say what the 11 will be and not sure what way Klopp will approach games in a busy period in terms of rotation.Should be plenty of game time for 16 or 17 players over the next few weeks.

Going to be hard to stop us going forward when all our guys are fit. Some teams will be getting pumped 6/7 in games.
Wonder will he play Hendo Phil Lallana, Mane Firminho Salah in home matches against the lesser teams?we'd clean up and wouldn't even have to worry about our shaky defence. Would still have OX, Sturridge and Solanke in reserve if needed, great problem to have.
If all our main boys stay fit we'll manage Top 4 easily enough

That's a pity if Matip is out but if ,Lovren and Gomez are fit then we have cover at least, I'd hope we'll be limiting the work on our centre halves to the odd clearance anyway with our attacking players.

Would be worried about Lovren in this one. The Southampton fans give him serious abuse and could be a dodgy one to bring him back.

I'd never have him in our squad if a few away fans were likely to bother him in Anfield though Gary.

Our 2 CB's really do seem to pick up niggly injuries very easily. Hopefully Lovren keeps his head today

I second this,Klavan deserves to keep his place,Gomez confidence will be sky high after his MOM against Brazil and theoretically we should be doing enough attacking for Trent to be a good option. The only thing Id be worried about is making 2 changes where we could just make one by playing Lovren but we're probably going to be rotating over the next few weeks anyway?

I was Trent may play today regardless with Gomez moving into the center. Looks nailed on now.

James Pearce saying he expects Lovren to start.Don't know if thats inside information or him just giving his opinion.
