Just reading back through this thread. Niall posted this a season back. His comment on Peter is so true he is a real gentleman and so approachable, friendly and knowledgeable. Did not know that you too had done it Ron. Dave, as a poster on here with such an interest in the history of the club I think this tour would be very enjoyable to you.
Peter Carney asked me to mention his tours for the season ahead. He is doing one for Villa and also Ludogorets. I'd recommend his tour for a great experience and a different way of learning about the football history of Liverpool. http://soccerinthecity.co.uk/
At a guess I would say about two hours. Peter Carney's email is carneyco@hotmail.com if anybody wants to ask him any questions.
G'man. Just checked, it's on at 11am and I'm not landing in Manc til 10:20 so wouldn't make it next weekend.
Bumping an old thread. Colm and myself met Peter Carney, just before going into the ground Sunday. The way he greeted us was like we were his best buddies remembering our names even though it was more than a year since I had last met Peter. He is a true gent and I'd highly recommend his tour . http://www.soccerinthecity.co.uk/ https://www.facebook.com/getonthetour
Bumping an old thread. Myself and Colm were on Peter Carney's tour yesterday. Great way to spend a few hours before a match. http://www.soccerinthecity.co.uk/ https://www.facebook.com/getonthetour
Yes well worth a bump. As been mentioned Peter is a gentleman and the tour is well worth doing. Will do myself again this season if I can.
