Carragher 'could' be right, by mid season he could be seen as a bargain.

Sure was, I did think he ran to far with it and should have layed it off. But sure it worked out and what do I know.

Love his directness. First thought is to go at the opposition.

Backed him anytime scorer today and almost went through the tv when I seen it head towards the top corner.

I had similar views, maybe meh is being kind. I had him down as Bolaise type, all tricks and speed but no brain, he looks a proper player. Love the way he holds it and spins and goes for the throat.

Same as others I wasn't impressed with him at all but I did feel that Klopp saw a guy with all of the raw attributes that he could maybe work on to turn into a world class player. It's far too soon for him to have any huge impact on him but nobody could ever argue that the raw ingredients aren't there, I'm still just not sure that he can develop the required game intelligence for Klopps game but time will tell. Great start to his career at Liverpool either way and that will hopefully give him the confidence to push up another gear.

If he keeps finding the top corner rather than row z, I won't complain. Cracking goal.

Impressed with him today, his goal was fantastic pure power and pace. I'm reserving judgement on him though, Stan Collymore scarred me as a young lad for putting too much faith in good debuts.

Wonderful to have a player who is so direct and who will back himself running at players. His career stats in terms of goals and assists are excellent so hopefully he can continue that sort of form with us. The early signs are very encouraging.

Best debut goal by a Liverpool player?
Collymore's and torres' were decent, can't think of any more off the top of me head.

Suarez at stoke and Owen at Wimbledon spring to mind too but manes goal was unreal. So direct with pace and power. He's comfortable on the ball and once he in the box he knows he can't be touched. Great goal

Fantastic game yesterday felt he was a treat for gunners all the way through, early signs are good, i think this fella could be our Suarez this yr under Klopp, he reminds me of him in so many ways.

Had no doubts , was dying to sign this lad last season

Exactly what we need , wouldn't mind another pacey player on the left as well ;)

Very direct. If he can deliver consistently we've signed some player.

Kante?? His a defensive midfielder. Are you thinking of payet?

This guy gives us a new dimension, think he may be our top goal scorer this season with around 15-20. Can see a lot of our team get into double figures though..,Coutinho, Firmino, Origi and Sturridge
