I really don't think anyone can complain about Ryanair now that they have eased off on the printed boarding passes, and moved into the smartphone scanning.. I was never one to complain about them anyways as a lot of their fares are cheaper than going from Galway to dublin on the train!

Soon the papers will have nothing to write about. Nothing wrong with the cabin crew's attire.

Its not too bad in fairness, but some of them look like they slept in them.

Their share price is up about 45% since they started this charm offensive last year.

    Yes

Download the app and then load the boarding pass. Only 1 issue is that if there are a number travelling on the one booking you can only load to one phone and if you lose the phone you have to print off the passes.

I think you can check in on your phone now & scan your phone going through instead of having to print off boarding passes etc.

App boarding passes have been up and running for a good few months now. nearly a year I'd say. Very handy... until your battery dies :)

I'm not sure if this is something new but I haven't noticed it before.I was just booking
a flight and selected 'don't insure me' and continued filling out the form.A few seconds later it automatically added insurance to the booking and defaulted to Ireland.I went back and selected 'don't insure me' again and it was taken off.It might be something that people need to be wary of.

It's very poor form from them John.I only noticed it myself when I checked to see the total after I selected to pay by debit card rather than credit card. That's another sneaky thing that they do and I'm sure plenty get caught out by it.
Hopefully you can get it sorted through live chat.

Just tried a booking for the craic of it. You will have no issues if you are a registered user on their website log in first as your saved debit card will be the card used to purchase a flight.

On a different note I was flying home from Barcelona airport on Paddy's night. Don't think I have ever been on a Ryanair flight before where they use the airline's chutes to board and disembark the plane. Boarding is a disaster with only the front doors being used. For this system to work efficiently they need to get rid of the queing and board people by blocks of rows.

Yes you can do both if your return flight is in 15 days or less.

I think that changed a while back. As far as I am aware it is 30 days if you want to purchase a preferred seat or just 7 days without paying for a seat.
