https://eventmaster.ie/events The above site will give you alot of good well organised runs coming up for the year. You can also filter it by county to suit.
long shot i know but if anyone on here has an entry for the dublin marathon from 2020 and won't be using it this year and wants to sell their bib/number let me know.
Crap, I had the rona 2 weeks before and should not have ran. But I was bolloxed from half wasn't over it. finished it but was a tad over 4 hours.
Anyone run in Cork at the weekend? I booked in for the half at the start of the year but couldn't really train as my back was banjaxed. Hadn't run over 10k in a few years. Went in to collect the racetop on saturday seeing as I had paid for it anyway. Of course there was a good buzz in city hall and I said I'd chance it and see how far I could get. Quick dose of acupunture, voltoral heat pack on saturday night, plenty voltarol gel on sunday morning. It was pissing rain for the start of the marathon but by the time we headed off on the half it had stopped raining thankfully. Felt ok and kept going, got in under 1.55. I've run a nice bit faster half marathons than that but in the circumstances I was nearly as happy with that time as I have been with any race I've done. Great buzz around the city, good support, looks like over 12,000 ran.
Anyone want a number for the Frank Duffy 10 mile Aug 20th FOC. Booked it earlier this year and have just realised I’m away
