Well made point gentlemen though you'll likely see the difference in scraping a 5 point win against 14 men than a 1-4 defeat with both teams at their full compliment but all logic aside I accept that you've got me dead to rights.

Should be a decent final today between the auld enemies. Looking foward to seeing Henshaw hopefully keep up his form as I reckon he's nailed on for a Lions test start

I'd expect him to tog out for the Lions alright, super player.

I'm not sure that many ever saw Munster winning, but to give them a bit of credit, there are certainly gaining ground, after the guys off a decade as the clear underdog

Are they though? Munster well full strength there and Leinster holding back a few key players with the Champions cup this week. Scoreline might suggest otherwise but Leinster were in total control of the match from back to front.

I'd argue that the loss of CJ might also be the biggest departure in all four provinces this season which definitely weakens Munster overall (and sadly Ireland).

As a Munster man, I agree completely, the scoreline was hugely flattering to us, although credit to Munster too for putting in the defensive work. We were very lucky to only get beaten by 10. Leinster threw at least two tries away (literally, threw the final pass over the sideline) and were held up well on another couple of occasions. They are streets ahead of us at the moment unfortunately, but they are one of the best sides in Europe. I'd say we are currently best of the second tier of teams, not up with the top sides. Stander is obviously going to be a huge loss. JJ going too, a lot less of a loss but you need a bit of strength in depth too if you are going to compete at the top level. I said fair play to Leinster for kicking it out on 80 minutes as there was another try for them at the end if they wanted it.

On my second crack at getting World Cup tickets for 2023 here. In the queue since 5 and I've only moved along 15%. Must be the Liverpool ticket office doing this sale for them.

Was debating it myself but decided to hold off. Most people didn't get sorted it seems. Very small amount of tickets available for a high demand, they are drip feeding/selling the tickets. They'll want to keep demand up by making tickets hard to come by. It is 2.5 years away after all!

That was a superb win by Leinster today against a ferociously physical Exeter team. Quality all over the field and it really feels like a coming of age for some guys notably the Wicklow contingent of Conan and VDF who have often been considered youngsters still despite their age and experience.

Cracking game. Thought Leinster played really well after the slow start. A lot of teams would have capitulated against a team as good as Exeter, especially when losing the main man but to settle in and control the game from then on really showed their pedigree at this level.

    Interesting semi final draw ahead.

Must check the highlights of Ulster game there, that's a cracking win too.
