    Nice one lads ...

please also send a copy of the email addresses to all your mates on email, facebook and to any other LFC fanclubs your in etc and ask them to put the boot in also. The fact that RTE are a state owned entity, living off our taxes is something else to use against them when applying pressure !

    Sent one off today.

Knowing RTE it'll be just stick the head in the sand and ignore it. Ronnie Whelan deserves a kicking in my eyes, he is now in affect been paid by the s*n for his "services".

I can't see RTE taking any interest in it. I say that Ronnie Whelan should be the one that gets it in neck. All supporters clubs, legends matches, fundraisers etc etc should be informed of this and it should be made clear that he is no longer welcome as a LFC representative until he cuts off ties with the S*n sponsored RTE.

As captain that day, its a shameful act if he doesn't resign.

although I agree with this & Whelan is allegedly not the nicest guy in the world-blackballing him cos of this may be a bit hypocritical, I'm sure Liverpool players past & present appeared on soccer am the season it was sponsored by the rag

Hi all, Sorry my first post on here is nagative. This news does not surprise me. I'm not bothered by it at all. Never watch it anyway. It's not a football analysis programme it's very, very badly written comedy/popfactor show where it is more about the has-beens commenting than the sport itself.

I think whether you like the show or don't like the show is besides the point. Our licence fee pays for a programme which is sponsored by the rag.
Welcome to the site by the way.

I wonder can we get the lads to mention it on programmes like Off the Ball on newstalk etc, to help turn up the heat on RTE now ?
