I think the way we play suits us to play better sides we are not on the front foot. Absorb and hit on the break and set pieces. Go and compete !!!

    Happy with that draw

Czech were beaten by Faroes recently and apart from West Ham lads and Snhick nothing special

Home to Denmark or North Macedonia if we beat them.

Canteen in work was full like it was an Olympic final watching the tv for the draw. The buzz is back in Irish International football. As @SUPERFAN said above it would be such a lift the country to get there. Lots of division in the country however nothing like a World Cup to get everyone pulling same direction

We owe Macedonia a beating, so here’s hoping we get to dish it out in 2026

Yep, delighted with draw and avoiding Path A and Path B which includes Italy, Poland even Sweden, who could've been dodgy come March.
At home in a potential final is massive as well. Souček has been on bench last two West Ham games so let's hope he continues warming the bench into the new year.

That's maybe the best outcome we could have gotten.

The Roma coach has been absolutely tearing into Evan Ferguson over the weekend, suggestions of his training not being up to scratch, has he a reputation as a bit of a party boy? I remember pictures of him and McGregor before which would leave you wondering. Might be best for all parties if he moves on in January.

Doesn't bode well for Gasperini to be complaining about his work ethic. He is known as a great coach for bringing players on, finding gems originally with Atalanta.

Maybe he's just trying to get a reaction out of him, push him. He's still only 21 but he's scored 22 goals in 113 games, that is just under one goal in 5, as a striker. And he scored 16 of those 22 goals in two seasons, 22/23 and 23/24. He needs to keep pushing himself if he's going to be a top player, or if he wants to stay in the higher divisions. Plenty time for him to do that, but it could be tactics from the manager to drive him on.

That is a massive blow as he was our only Premier League level midfielder. He was also excellent for Burnley.
