Game game to be played in Gibraltar
That's just ruined my day. New ticketinbg structure is a disaster for me also as I usually get sorted via the Football Family.
Willing to swap Champions League away leg ticket for QF should we KO Bayern in exchamge for a ticket for Gibraltar v Ireland in March if anyone can help.
Great interview with Stephen Kenny here by Paul Kimmage:
Declan Rice has declared for England
Declan rice has picked England..Paul Joyce put it up
Fully expected this, pity for Ireland, but at least its now put to bed
But reaction is fuck him.
Can't be anybody suprised by that. The only thing that might have stopped him is the thought he might not be a regular in that team and his performances lately will have helped his camp squash those doubts.i think it's absolute nonsense that you can have senior caps for a country andtbsn go off and play for another one but it is what it is.I don't wish him anything, positive or negative.
Fair auld kick in the goolies that is.
Bit mad can get caps but not "proper caps" so can change.
First they take our Spuds now our Rice!!!!
English lad plays for England . They’ll still win as much as us
At least he didn't let it drag out for months and months, for that I say fair play to him.
I hope he doesn't do a Jack Grealish
Famous quote from an englishman born in Ireland "just because you are born in a stable, it doesn't make you a horse"
At end of the day we play the system, we will get stung with players.. if he does become an England regular he will get to loads of tournaments... But it is a kick in balls seeing a player kiss badge and sing anthem to go sing God save the queen..grrr
I put the blame partly on Keane and O’Neill.
The atmosphere in that camp was toxic last year. He was in the squad, no mumours of discontent. I definitely think the messing with Walters, Artwr and Stephen Ward can’t have helped and think it was potentially trigger for a rethink. Had everything been rosey we could have got him capped in one of them nation league things before he became the backbone of West Ham. That new contract seemed to be the real trigger where West Ham probably want him as an England International. Much better for sponsorship and sell on fee.
He dragged it out long enough but at least now we know.
Think he will get a fair few caps for them.
He would've had every summer off if he played for us, jokes on him.
Can see why he picked England, but still a kick in the bolox for us especially considering he has worn the jersey a number of times. Ah well, move on.. hes not that good anyway
