Seems all hotels have been booked up in city centre other than mad prices. Does anyone know any decent hotels or air bnbs or anything in centre or 10/15 mins outside that I might be able to check out?
dont rule out edinburgh, Ive done it for the few Ireland matches; Train over - uber / Taxi home - very straight forward
Be a pricey uber from Anfield to Edinburgh after the game...think he's looking for accommodation for Rangers home match
I stayed in Manchester city centre a few times last year after midweek games, handy enough and a lot cheaper usually.
Yeah have done that before, but got flights in and out of Liverpool this time so looking for somewhere local
I booked accom for matchday 3 and matchday 4 ages ago. Knowing one of those games would be at home. With free cancellation. Feeling but chuffed with myself
What transport did you use to get back to Manchester after the game..? Its something I never considered.
The trains run late I’ve often done it after midweek games when flying home via Manchester early next morning
Last train is 23.38. Usually walk into town after game have 1 in Lanigans while waiting for the train and back in Manchester for 12.30 or so
Just the train back into Manchester, I normally stay in the centre and get back for 12:30 or so, handy enough.
I usually cover all angels and do free cancellation before the draw is made. I have 2 hotel bookings as we had tried to make this game a lads trip but it hasn't worked out for them. I'm still going so still have 1 of those rooms available before I cancel - Premier Inn Liverpool One - £200 (Twin Room) - feel free to PM me for proof etc if still in need.
thanks, I actually got booked in somewhere called the resident on seel street. Never heard of it but looks okay
I did that for a lot of the nights too Wouldn't think £200 was good value though for 1 night in Premier Inn pre the draw
Has anyone ever stayed in: the resident 30 James street (seems to be near Albert dock) would appreciate any opinions on both
