9 of the 11 players who started were here when Klopp arrived.
Even looking at the players that were unavailable the only changes would have seen Hendo and Mane come in for Can (probably) and Sturridge dropping out so likely with a fully fit squad we'd still see 8/11 from before his arrival.
I wasn't nervous as we were doing everything right for the first 25 minutes, then in real time I thought it was definitely a pen. Commentators sounded quite pissed off that we weren't down to ten men...
The way he brought on Lucas and Moreno looked very much like a send off. The calls of "shoooooot" even when Lucas was midway in his own half
anyone see fella in mbappe top? i got onto him outside the ground
For what reason did you "get on to him"? I wouldn't bother getting a players name on a jersey that doesn't play for the club but surely it's everyone's right to have whatever they want on the back of their jersey wihtout the self appointed jersey police deciding what is acceptable.
That could have been his own name to be fair!
He could have just been a huge Hanson fan in fairness.
Ba du bop, ba du dop
Ba du bop, ba duba dop
Ba du, yeah
Maybe I notice it more because I'm a Liverpool supporter but hammering others over what's deemed acceptable seems to be rampant among our supporters.I'm not singling you out here IrishKop96 by the way but even the call for fans to meet the coach was being dismissed as "whopper behaviour". There's genuine issues around the atmosphere,I get that but imo the "this is how you support LFC" brigade don't help.
Was getting nervy coming up halftime yesterday. Was a certain peno I thought at the time and seeing it again today, even more sure.
Lovely opening goal, a real sigh of relief.
New kit looks brilliant. Best one since late 80s/90s Candy ones.
I'd say some of the former players with 4 or 5 league medals and more than 10 years of service were looking on at Lucas yesterday thinking we got called into the office and told to pack our things. This lad wins a league cup and gets one of the biggest send offs in LFC history.
Was trying to work out Sturridge body language on lap at the end and seems to be a lad taking it all in as won't be around next season.
haha, bit of modern football in 1 pic..
Not sure if you have to register on the offal to see this video. It is the final tunnel cam of the season. It will probably be uploaded to youtube at some stage. Well worth the watch.
Anyone know if you can buy programmes from the official site after a game? Saw some signed ones on the club shop and one for Southampton, however not clear if they sell online for every home game
You might have to ring the club shop if looking for a signed one.
Back issues available here http://www.sportmediashop.com/products/details/liverpool_single_issues/liverpool_progs_16_17/
Defo not looking for a signed one. Promised someone a few and forgot all about it, so will order them from here.
