Can see at least 5 changes for this game.Maybe even different system 3-5-2.
    My team would be

    Migs
    Gomez
    Matip
    Klavan
    Clyne
    Gini
    Milner
    Lallana
    Moreno
    Solanke
    Ings.

Game time for are squad plus resting starting 11 for scum game on Saturday morning.

    Score 3-3...

I personally wouldn't let Mignolet anywhere near the team even if the tie is more or less over. Would rather try to keep the momentum going if possible.
I noticed that Aboubakar was on the bench the other night for Porto so they will have a bit more if a threat up top if he's fit to start.

I see no rationale for playing Migs at this point, Karius is our keeper and surely in no need of a rest. Keep building his game time and getting him CL experience is a great idea. I'd like to see some other friends guys get minutes but momentum cannot be sacrificed for it.

Can’t see him dropping all of the front 3, think at least one will stay in and think it’ll be mane. We want to win this tie on the night or at least not lose and keep the momentum going into Saturday. I wouldn’t be changing karius given his form

Can't see as many changes as people think. 4 or 5 but not 10 or 11 for me. How will Porto line up I wonder? Full team or is it a write off for them?

Hopefully Karius does start every game for the rest of the season , but wouldn’t be surprised if Klopp wants to keep Mignolet in the loop Incase needed.

Wondering how strong a squad Porto bring been 5/0 down and focused on stopping Benfica win 5 leagues in a row.
Thought they had 6 players that was in the squad for the first leg injured.

I’d rest both Salah and Firmino and probably start Mane with Ings and Solanke.
With Wijnaldum if not still unwell starting with Milner and Lallana
Add Lovern and Matip with Gomez and Moreno plus Karius

Bigger game on Saturday. Shouldn’t be risking any of the front 3

A lot of people saying (not necessarily just on here) don’t risk the front 3 but could the same argument not be made for the back four or 3 of the back 4 at least?

I’m fully of the belief that momentum is important and making wholesale changes to the team could actually have a damaging effect leading into the United game

I'd agree with this, think Klopp will too. He's not going to start messing around with his squad too much at this point. We have 3 full days after tomorrows game before Utd and then a week until Watford. We've no travel worth mentioning in those three games either. Full strength in all I'd imagine.

Lallana in for Salah, Matip in for VVD. Other than that I'd keep the same team as the weekend.

I thought Klopp has already said at the weekend that he will be playing a very strong team. I'd say you'll see maybe 2-3 changes and take a few boys off after 50 minutes with the game won.

Why do we need to win the game? We are 5-0 up? And playing Man Utd away on Saturday lunchtime.

That said, I would expect our second string to win the game, so dont see any reason why we shouldnt make 11 changes.

It's the final stretch now, presume he wants to keep his best team staying cohesive and sharp rather than disrupting it. I can see the logic....(until someone gets injured)

I dont see how they will lose cohesiveness if none of them play? It would be as if we didnt have a game this midweek. Give the fringe players a run.

I didn't say we did. I said what Klopp said and guessed he would start a strong team and sub early in the game.

Porto travel to Merseyside this morning without Alex Telles, Danilo Pereira, Moussa Marega and Tiquinho Soares. The quartet will stay in Portugal to recover from their respective injuries.

B team players Luís Mata and Bruno Costa make their debut in the first team call-up.
