Arsenal have done well out of this situation. Player was gone on a free in summer and would not have tried a leg in second half of the season. Swapped him and probably gave Sanchez wages for a world class player on his day. If he hits Dortmund form, would be their best player
Agree entirely Gary. What's more, if they can bag Aubameyang this window, then they are seriously back in contention for 4th imho. Reuniting Mkhitaryan and Aubameyang could prove to be a very shrewd move by old Arsène.
Seems very cheap doesn't it ... I just had a quick look on Transfermarkt there, he's not had much game time this season (Di Maria probably keeping him out of the team), seems to have sub 18 months left on his contract, so probably explains why he might be for sale or wants out, but still seems very cheap given how little you can buy in the PL for that sort of money. Maybe he's on a very big salary with PSG or something ?
Maybe he is just not that good and they are willing to cut their losses on him. I would have thought PSG would be looking to maximise transfer fees for FFP reasons. 22 million is basically half a Danny Drinkwater.

Personally think £22m isn’t much of a risk even if it doesn’t work out I’d like expect any club would get most back if moved on.
Silva, De Bruyne, Andre Silva, Sterling, Gundogan, Sane and Mahrez all playing in same position while we sell our best player yet again and don't even make an attempt to bring in somebody even though we knew he wanted out since last summer. I mean all of our rivals have improved this window while we've gone backwards.
Going to be interesting much they spend Think he has spent close to £500m since he arrived at City Over £850m with Barca Bayern and City
You don't pull things out of the fire on paper, you do it by winning games and getting points. Agreed it should help them on both points but Arsenal still don't look near a complete team to me at all.
Arsenal goalkeeping and defensive situation is worse than Liverpool. Some howler from Cech last night and they haven’t a top class defender in the squad. Fair enough signing attacking players but they have lost Giroud and Sanchez who are their best attackers in last four years. The two new lads could be great but they could also be poor for them. Remember when Mickeytarzan signed for United I thought he would transform them. He missed an open goal for Arsenal last night at 2-1. Aubangayang has a great record in Germany however loads of players have come in from that league (Sahin, Kagawa) and not done it. If I was an Arsenal fan I’d Defo be happy with their business but looks as if the signings are that of the Sporting Director and a new manager in summer might not fancy them.
They do need a overhaul in defence and midfield plus a new keeper . Looked like they were losing Sanchez and Ozil for free but got Mikh and kept Ozil.Added imo a top striker as well . Looks better than it was a few weeks back . Wenger will be there for another season , even if he should move on
How can they spend so much on transfers and not fall foul of FFP half a billion in 18 months there's no way we can compete with that
Ah no - surely six 3 foot tall plastic letters stuck on the side of a stand are worth every penny of the 400m it cost. Every time I see petrol go up I wonder who Pep is looking to sign now.
