    Noel Gallagher has always been pretty open that he stole lyrics and parts of other songs but it was still interesting to realise when watching TOTP from 1989 that he ripped off part of a Holly Johnson song. The "up all night,up all night" in Married With Children is from Johnsons Love Train.

    That bit sounds like a sample compared to the rest of the song. This may sound like I have a clue but I don't, just an observation

    Yeah just that lyric and how its sung mate. Songs themselves are very different.

    Ah there's worse examples than that. He even copies his own songs. Listen Up and Supersonic are the same tune. Love them both mind you

    Bar the obvious rip offs I've liked most of their covers. A live version of I am The Walrus is a b side from one of the early singles. Beast of a cover.
