3 game ban for Pouncey.
Teams play again next weekend
Pounceys ban reduced to 2, Garret's has been upheld as indefinite. He also alleged that Rudolph made a racial slur which caused him to react, if that's not true he's digging himself into an even bigger hole, that's really attacking someone's entire reputation. If it's true I hope there's some corroborating evidence though it seems unlikely as it's taken a week to even be mentioned by Garret.
I'm a 9ers fan so I'm biased but that was probably the best NFL game I've ever seen. My wife's cousin was at it too, I'm not jealous at all
Incredible game. Only saw the second half but it was end to end.
I honestly thought 49ers had lost second game in row in last play but what a play to set up the field goal!
Kittle is an incredible player but the idiot that grabbed his facemask at that point in the game and made the kick a complete gimme is brain dead. Overall it's hard to say Saints deserved to lose but big mistakes at crucial moments let them down and a few big penalties too.
Wild card weekend knocked out the 3 older QBs anyway. Should be some great games this weekend, but expect all top seeds to win.
Brady had no offence. What happens next in New England will be interesting
very interesting. Very old roster and lacking in a number of areas. Lots of key personnel either finishing up or at the very last stages of being there.
Yeah it's a really interesting off season for them now, if Brady isn't the QB going forward you'd probably fancy that they'll rip the whole roster apart and go for a fairly full scale remodelling job though I think him leaving would leave them in a bit of a hole on their cap with them having to pay him some guaranteed amount (I've seen $13.5 million thrown about) and then signing another QB on top of that. If Brady stays then you'd have to imagine that they'll just try and move a few pieces around as well as they can to try and have one last push at the Superbowl with the current squad very much intact. They've always had a fairly easy run to the playoffs but with the Bills looking a bit healthier now things might get a little bit more complicated for them and losing to Tennessee might just be a bridge too far for them.
Brady’s stats this year put him in bottom half of quarter backs. Some of that was to do with his options. They had Gordon and Brown at one point and he was rolling but they are both head cases so he was left without any stud receiver except Edelman and no Gronk.
If they got in a couple of decent WRs I could see him going one more year. No point though with similar unit to this year.
exactly. If it doesnt improve, I think he walks. I dont see him going to another team though.
Postseason results are a bit ridiculous this season! I can't quite believe what's going on in Kansas.
Chiefs on the comeback
And just like that the Chiefs wipe out a 24 point deficit to lead 28-24, by scoring 4 times in 10 mins!
Some game. They did the same last year against the Patriots but then lost in OT
Unreal stuff! What a game
Chiefs and Niners to the superbowl? Would be a good one.
As long as Titans go out next round I'm happy and I honestly can't see them living with Kansas. Any of the other three are deserving winners for me, I'm a 9ers fan but I've loved Aaron Rodgers down the years and the Chiefs are just about the most exciting team in the league, certainly on ofence, they've pace everywhere and Mahomes is different quality.
Chiefs haven't a great record over getting over the line.
Looking forward to that game the most.
Odell Beckham Jr has an arrest warant out for him. Seems he slapped a cop on the arse during the celebrations of the college football final.
He was also supposedly filmed handing out banknotes to the players after the game - a major no-no in college football, no perks allowed for players (well no perks that can be seen) The governing body (is it the NCC?) an levy some ginormous fines to offending universities
