Don’t think Trent would been sent off just booked and a peno to Newcastle
The boys on sky saying red because it was a goal scoring opportunity because they scored it was still a yellow card offense but he got away with a booking also
Ref is a joke.
FA rules say it’s a booking and a peno not a red
Off the bbc site...
Looks like maybe Trent Alexander-Arnold should have been booked, but not sent off.
This is from the FA's rulebook...
"If the referee plays the advantage for an offence for which a caution / send off would have been issued had play been stopped, this caution / send off must be issued when the ball is next out of play, except for the denial of an obvious goal-scoring opportunity when the player is cautioned for unsporting behaviour."
Not according to carra . I haven’t a clue either way .
Lovern with a stupid ball in didn't help there
Hopefully salah is ok. Out of Tuesday now I’d say
Hopefully not out of it. Didn't lose consciousness thankfully
8 minutes injury time
What a win that was. Pulled another out
Wow what a side
Thanks be to Christ!
What a team. As much heart as talent
Emotional rollercoaster but brilliant, great resilience.
Our 50th goal in the 2nd half that one.
Serious pressure on City now on Monday.
Goes to the last day no matter what. I’d take that any day of the week.
Over to the brodge now
Pity Brighton are safe
Great leadership from van diyk insisting on Shaq taking the free
I can understand that theory but then you look at Newcastle’s performance against us tonight and you can’t say they didn’t try to win that match. When they are playing in front of a home crowd with the eyes of the country on them I think they will not be rolling over at least.
