Hi All,
I'm looking for the biggest miracle since Istanbul. I'm looking for 5 tickets for the Newcastle game. I'm bringing my wife and 3 kids (kids going for 1st time). I'm hoping for 3 tickets from one source and 2 tickets from another, as my wife and I would have to supervise the kids (2, 2 & 1 tickets won't work for us).
I joined Irish Kop back in 2012 but with kids so young was never in a position to interact - hence this is my first posting, but I'm a genuine Red.

Would appreciate any help on this matter.

Hi @SUPERFAN, Yes I have membership with the club (for 1st time this year) but I don't have any credits built up because kids were too young and could not go over on a regular basis. Now I'm in a position to hopefully build up some credits. I went on to the club website last Thursday but the last 10,000 tickets allocated to all members were sold out by the time I had logged on.

 

well if you have access to the internet fairly handy during the day you should check the LFC ticket page regularly the week of the Newcastle game, some tickets should pop up and you'll have a good chance of picking them up. only 1 ticket per membership though and the chances of getting 2 or 3 together will be slim to none. if you managed to pick up a few singles someone on here might do a swap with you for 2/3 together.

 

Thanks for the advice @SUPERFAN.I'll keep hunting. A single ticket for myself would work, but would almost prefer to get all or none because kids would be disappointed. And the singles won't work for them because they are ages 10, 8 & 7. Thanks again.

 

Hi Marty. If you hang around the site you will see that there were definitely not 10000 tickets per game available to members last Thursday. There are at least 10000 available to members however vast majority would have been gone in the first sale to those with previous credits. It’s very effective marketing though as a lot of people pick it up that 10k are available in that sale on Thursday.

Unfortunately it’s very hard to pick up even 1-2 spares, so the chances of 4-5 are very slim.

Superfan is correct that you might pick up in the week up to the game. Usually there are a few lads here who let people know if any pop up for sale but you need to be online most of the day to have any chance.

 

Hi @GaryMc, thanks for the response. I understand that what I'm hoping for is a big ask - but I'll take your advice, and keep on the lookout. To be honest, as a first time member (under this new format), I'm new to all of this so I'm trying to navigate and interpret the LFC website after logging in as a member. I'll be working in the days leading up to our family break but will try keep an eye online. Thanks again pal!
