That was a fair shout when posted, and while we've played more games since the lad's been injured for some of them.

Hopefully, we'll start to see what he can do for us pretty soon though, as our midfield needs a lift big time.

Our midfield is set up as a more defensive unit imo when Milner, gini, hendo are in
We need a shaqiri or keita in there to add a midfield runner to our offensive shape

    Mane 2
    Keita 1
    Salah 1

    Total 4

    Attempted 9

Yesterday City had 11 successful from 14 attempts 80% success

Sterling 5 successful from 7 attempts

Personally didn’t think City were all that , actually thought Bournemouth might nick a point

City on a bad day, like ourselves, are still far better than everything outside the top 5 or 6, that's 13 games home and away that we will win unless things go horribly wrong.

Both City and us to a lesser extent have raised the bar as to what's deemed a good performance from either of us. I didn't see their game yesterday but I'm seeing a fair few shouts that they were poor.16 shots to 4 they had,the only shot they allowed on target was Bournemouths goal. I saw articles last week describing our result at Watford a bit lucky but watch that game without any preconceptions about what you expect from either team and it's a thoroughly deserved win from a team with a controlled performance.

Personally I see vulnerability in City , until it went 3-1 they looked very nervous especially on the bench mainly pep .

I’ve watched them a few times and personally think we can beat them to the title if we can perform to our ability constantly

Feel City has got into the minds of to many Liverpool fans

    ???Players and staff ???

I think every team has vulnerabilities mate but if City were showing there's yesterday then it shows how tough it will be to finish ahead of them because the highest scorers outside the top 5 couldn't manage more than 1 shot on target.

Watford and Chelsea both away in the next two games for them , very much an opportunity for dropped points in both games

He looked absolutely excellent last night. Replicated his form of 2 years ago. Really hoping he can put a string of those performances together. He looked absolutely immense.

Brilliant last night. Hope it continues. At his best he's effortlessly excellent. He has so much poise and skill to go along with energy and stamina. He definitely has the attributes to be a top premiership midfielder just hope we see it more from now on.

    Great game last night.

I said here last season that he reminded me of a Kante type player but who can score goals.

I feel that he is still fitting in and that the injury set him back a little. He has more to come and I do expect to see him chip in with a few goals too.

But I think that he is the real deal. I think that he will be immense for us in the next few years.

He played very well today when he had the ball, but he didn't have much of it. He was taken off early. I hope he was taken off to be rested for Tuesday.

Injuries certainly taking there toll on his impact (I was telling fellas here in the states he would be POTY) but wasn’t it in December last year that Ox and Robbo made their break through? Let’s hope Keita and Fabinho have the same impact as those 2.
