The question is if they were lost or if its a made up story. The OP charged a €50 deposit to person A who he agreed to lend tickets to. Person B then took the tickets , as agreed, and 'they got lost'. Person B offered to cancel and pay for cost of replacement cards. The original cards were used at Southampton last Saturday (I've been informed) indicating they weren't lost. The OP is ignoring messages on here but is active on toutless. Of course a deposit is acceptable, whats not is calling someone out for losing cards, said cards not been lost and ignoring questions about refunding the deposit. If galwaydub wants to defend his corner then lets hear it.
To me it looks like galwaydub is used to dealing with people who don't know any better and are once off purchasers on Toutless, so any yarn will do However he is now completely out of his depth in how to manage a transaction on IK and is having an Eric Meijer with multiple logins, ignoring messages, deposits, the workings of the postal system...
Yeah shot his load too soon, said the cards weren't sent by registered post and they were, 3 weeks between games, there was loads of time for them to arrive. Hadn't the decency to come back on and say the cards had arrived, good riddance.
With the amount of transactions on toutless on that one account alone, LFC should consider the operation for new distributor. Will give Tony B a bell.

Poor form this. As for deposits, in 10 years and over 100 transactions in and out on here I can safely say I have never heard the word deposit for cards mentioned. I've spent time on here building up a reputation through being reliable and always offering to help out with getting cards from a to b where necessary. If my name or feedback is not good enough I personally wouldn't be doing business. I have had cards lost coming to me and one experience of cards not getting back home due to post and it was dealt with on both sides without mudslinging. If your in the game of shifting tickets throughout the season a card getting lost in the post may happen. I won't speculate on GalwayDub's intentions with his deposits but it looks very poor form from here and the fact he has no intention to a) apologise and b) defend his name is deafening.
