Think we will see a few changes maybe Fabinho and Keita to start Don’t think there will be many changes . I’m sure Ings Sits this out.
Ings is deffo not playing, think we will give these lads a right good hiding. Salah will get a couple..
Was thinking this the othe day. These weird 2 year loan things are not a bad idea as it means they can’t play against you. He is in good form at the moment so great he is out.
I think I'd agree with that, I'm not sure who might need a rest, Bobby should be well rested only having a brief cameo on Tuesday but Salah or Mane might be due a break. Keita is likely to come back in too I'd expect. Full strength for us still allows us one or two changes which is a luxury we haven't had before.
https://www.dailyecho.co.uk/sport/1...gabbiadini-an-injury-doubt-to-face-liverpool/ Looks like big responsibility falling to Shane Long on Saturday for them. Wouldn't be surprised to see Mane or Salah rested. Klopp rotated more in Aug and Sep last year with a smaller squad.
I think we'll see a few get game time. Probably rest one of the center backs then the other midweek. Likewise with mane and Salah. I'd be amazed if klopp didn't play a strongish team in the cup.
Yeah, I think Klopp will be looking for some silverware this year, where ever it comes from will be OK.
I feel midfield will be given a change. Salah, as i said in another thread, is a strange one. Could do with a goal but would a blank add pressure. Back four will be unchanged but changed for Wednesday night.
Think Milner is a guaranteed change as I doubt he'll play 3 in a row. Really hoping we see the best of Keita tomorrow.
yeah Echo what most are saying, No need for wholesale Changes thats for the Chelsea cup game. Keep back 5 and Front 3 and 1 or 2 changes in the middle.
Should be able to rotate and not have any drastic influence on our form Expecting Southampton to sit deep , could be a perfect set up for Sturridge ,but probably not up to two starts in 5 days
Shaqiri Keita and Fabinho are the only ones I see in the mix for potential changes. Then 6-7 changes for the midweek game, give other players game time.
I like this train of thought. Have one or two of Firmino, Mane or Salah on the bench if we do still find ourselves drawing on 60. Interested to see how Keita operates against a team that's sitting deep. Hughes tone in the press conference was pretty defeatist and expecting them to sit in. "You would like to think if we can remain in the game and have a good platform, that will enable us to create chances and take chances if they come around. Liverpool are in outstanding form at the moment and if it was a great performance in Europe."
rest nobody. go strong. Same line up as spurs. Finish this game in 45 mins. Then rest who you want till next league game. learn to finish chances we create and it should be a comfortable second 45 mins. Not nervy like last Saturday or Tuesday night. Ive no nails left an my heart is getting weaker.
This will be a lot tougher than people expect. Southampton raise their game against us and are a physical side. Hopefully we can score early but our home record has been superb. I would expect Keita to come in for Milner, and parter Henderson and Wijnaldum. I think Klopp will play a strong side as make big changes for the league cup game.
