Don’t know if I’ll do this, I think I might try and hold out a nice European friendly like last year, Berlin was a bit of craic.
It's after pissing me right off. There's loads of tickets left on ticket master at the mo and all adult only.
Rip off...want to bring the young lad to see this but its way to expensive.. If anyone isnt using their adult and child ticket give us a pm
Want to bring my 2 boys as well. €240 I say now for the 4 of us compared to the €125 for a family ticket I got last year.
A game like this they should be making those family packages the main bulk of the ticket sales. But that wouldn't give the fat cats enough I guess.
Sadly they'll never have enough. Massive massive money maker for the club and football bodies these pre season friendlies. It'll only keep going up too.
I see these are on LFC site now with just the top tier behind the goal available, As people said its obvious more child tickets should have been available, lucky I got 2 for mine so cost me €100 less than others. Expensive day if travelling from further parts of the country..
If there is a home friendly it would probably be cheaper to fly to Anfield for a game with a kid than bring them to this if you include the day all in.
2 adults 2 kids from Cork. €210 for train, €277 hotel , €176 Tickets. €XXX refreshments. Jesus, I didn't think this through well enough.
Where is the hotel mate? Croke park hotel is reasonable. There is a few around drumcondra too that may be cheaper. Louis fitz or the maldron in tallaght might be worth a shout. They are more of less on the luas line. I used to live in Dublin, city centre hotel prices are crazy but not too bad on the out skirts
The Abby hotel. Most other stuff is booked out. Bank holiday weekend and isn't their some gaa stuff on also?
Planning on getting over for a match early next season so I swerved this. But just to say I've paid €10 and €35 for Leinster tickets recently in blocks that are priced at €60 for this. Mad prices for friendlies, bring back the games in Tolka and Dundalk etc.
