Let's enjoy it. And yes, I know we've won the league etc. etc. but let's see a win! I don't want to see 90 minutes of cuts to Trent in the stand but knowing Sky we probably will. And if he does play, I hope he isn't booed. A nice level of casual quiet disinterest would do fine. Just don't make it about him please... 20 League Titles. After Klopp was robbed at least twice, it's lovely to see us get this one.
I'd have Klopp on the pitch. I'd also have Gerrad right next to him soaking it all in. They both deserve it. Carragher and Hyypia as well, why not A gaurd of honour for Palace and a comfortable home win with Salah breaking the record would be the perfect way to finish off the season. I'd give Tsimikas, Nunez and Kelleher the last 10 minutes to say goodbye.
If there's one man we should see on the pitch for a proper farewell, its George Sephton. The voice of Anfield
Forest have banned Gary Neville from their ground. They should make him come to Anfield now instead which he'd hate with every ounce of his being
Other than ‘yer wan’ have we any other confirmed leavers tomorrow that will be getting a send off? I see Trent got his signed shirt or whatever during training and he has a wee speech.
Todays the day, and I'd like to make a suggestion for this thread. Can we make it a Trent free zone and just concentrate on the day of celebration, and the match of course. A win would be nice but I don’t think failure to do so will dampenthe spirits. Up the fucking reds.
As much as I loved winning the league with 4 games to spare I'm actually looking forward to watching games again where we need to get results. I think the players are constantly looking for Mo and trying to help him with the record which is commendable but it's to our detriment.
Gravenberch banned for 3 games supposedly. Wasn't Saliba only banned for 1 game after doing exact same against Bournemouth?
A last man red card typically results in a one-game suspension. This applies if the player is sent off for denying a clear goal-scoring opportunity by committing a foul that is punishable by a free kick or penalty kick. The severity of the foul determines the length of the ban.
I think it'll just be a 1 game ban, as he clearly slipped and that's what caused the foul, which is usually enough to mitigate any additional punishment. He can play against Palace in the Community Shield, and then will miss the first game of the season.
anyone no when u can apply for tickets for community sheild as seen on fanpass that u can buy then but never used it so not sure of it
