I would of took there position 3 games ago but after beating spurs , Southampton and Chelsea we’ve done the hard part. If city win all there games then fair play to them but all we need is for them to draw 1

I would. Just the idea of having control of our destiny no matter how difficult would be more appealing.

I have to he honest, I'm not a fan of it. If pep was doing that we'd be lashing him out of it. Save it for when we win something.

Better yesterday than the infamous draw at West Brom. There's no guarantees of ever winning anything in football, enjoy the good times whenever they come round and we're right in the midst of a great time to be a Liverpool fan right now regardless of winning trophies.

Pep has no personality though whereas klopp thrives on his emotion and passion for the club and fans. He gives an unrivalled feel good factor to the players..if someone came to anfield yesterday and never knew anything about the club, you’d never believe that a league title hasn’t been here in almost 30 years

Why would you feel they would be shitting it the way their playing, wit Sterling on form, de bruyne back, very little critical injuries?

Its all about building the connection with the fans & team.

City never have a full stadium so Pep wouldn't get the response Klopp does.

Agreed...I don’t understand how any of our fans would be against this.

The fans loved it yesterday and wait for it after the games.

Because they can't afford to even draw one of United Spurs or Leicester without it being out of their hands. They aren't actually playing that well. Fits and starts. And that was before the pressure period. I'd say they fully expected us to drop points in the last few games. We didn't. Now the pressure is all on them and they have lost 4 times already in the league. They have some really tough games left. If they win them all you just gotta take your beating. But I think they will drop points.

They don't have to play well to beat most everyone in the league, I'm all for hoping they lose games but I doubt very much that they're shit**ing it. Whilst it's true that they can't afford any mistakes and that's a very fine margin for error it is at least a margin for error, we can win all of our remaining games and leave with nothing which puts them in a better position than us.

It was the fans I said would be shitting it. Think of the nerves you feel as a Liverpool fan. Think if you had those fixtures remaining.

That's a particularly positive outlook with no negative option at all, fair play

I wouldn't swap our position for Citys at this point. I think we've a great chance of winning all of our remaining games,I wouldn't give us anywhere near the same chance of winning the 5 they have left. We've already failed to beat 2 of those teams,so have they for that matter. On the other hand we've beaten all the teams we have left 11-1 on aggregate and the 1 was offside.

Watched the second half again there and the first 15 mins we completely suffocated them, we played so high up and every time they had the ball there was at least 2 players pressing. It was like a python attack, every time they took a breath we tightened our grip and the goal inevitably came

I think at this point of the season some teams city have beaten before they even get on da field, they feel city are goin to win lets make this as painless as possible , palace were that team sun, they were shockin offered nothing, then i see on mnf neville blowing smoke up citys ass by sayin it was the best performance by city after palace scored ffs all they did was kick the ball to the corner flag and surround it , ridulous statement by him . We'll never get credit until we win da PL while dey can still play shit and any positive will be blewn up to cover theyre genenral play up.

I'm the black cloud of doom that hangs over the IK forums! Wherever there's un-abandoned hope and expectation I provide the unwanted temperance.
