Going to be missing our first choice CB pairing but hopefully Lovren fit to play along side Matip

Surely Lovren will be back? Unfortunately can't rely on him to stay fit, lucky Van Djik has been pretty much an ever presence bar missing around the time he signed. Take any lead to Munich and I'd be very confident of qualifying.

Surprised Kovac is still in charge after their start but see they are second and within reach of Dortmund now after the winter break

Obviously Lewandowski is the big threat. Looked at their recent team and Neurer not involved, Boatang, Meuller, Ribery and Martinez on the bench.

I personally think need a two goal
Lead going there. Even when not conceding any goals in the league earlier in the season, I thought away from home in Europe, just seemed to be something up defensively. Could be the balance between defence and attack.

    Proper European tie. Can’t wait

Lovren out - I think he will mix it up. My Guess:

    3 4 1 2

    Gini - Matip - Fab
    TAA - JH - JM - Robbo
    Bobby
    Salah - Mane

Klopp seems to like 4-3-3 and a midfield of Henderson,Milner and Wijnaldum for these type of games so Fabinho at CB with everybody else where you'd expect them to be seems the most likely but you never know.

Personally would be happy with a 1-0 and 2-0 would be the ideal result
Bayern do seem vulnerable at the back this season, looking at there last few Games they haven’t kept a clean sheet in a while and they will struggle with our front three .

Midfield and upfront there very strong imo .

Think it will be Fabinho at CB and keita in midfield than Milner .
Lewandowski Is a huge worry , especially looking at his form this season in both the league and champions league .

Our 2nd biggest match of the week. Hopefully any kind of win going into the United although 0-0 wouldn’t be the worst result either

I will say I thought Lovren was definitely out when I posted that and thought Fabinho would be at CB.

Looks like Lovren won't be available and a few shouts that Henderson might play CB.I still think there's more chance of Fabinho playing there but we'll see. Neuer was a doubt but he'll be available,he's starting tonight.

Numerous times I’ve said Henderson might make a good Cb just a gut telling , supposedly was was to play Cb v Wolves but got injured .

I’d prefer Henderson at Cb and keep Fabinho in midfield

I can see the logic alright,I think I'd go the other way but in Klopp we trust.

Coman injured his ankle right at the end of the game last night and could miss this game
, would be a big loss imo .

A German friend of mine has been saying how poor Bayern are against teams who counter quickly, he's fully expecting a comfortable Liverpool win based solely on this. They have been getting torn apart on the counter by much worse teams than us.
