Premier League clubs in Liverpool and London will be able to welcome some supporters back into their stadiums after the Government announced which tiers different areas of the country will be in after the end of the second lockdown. A long list of Premier League clubs, including Manchester City, Manchester United, Aston Villa, Newcastle and Leicester will be unable to have fans back in person, however. Good news at least.
Another top flight opponent in cup competition. Had to check up the numbers, and it turns out in our 25 domestic cup draws since Klopp assumed charge in October 2015, Liverpool have now been paired to face a top-flight side on 16 occasions. Thats mad. Need to get my tinfoil hat out from the cupboard.
I seen on amazon lads, for any one that doesn't have amazon prime, you can sign up to get it on a 30 day free trial which is handy. we'd get the 3 games that are scheduled for amazon prime in for free.. Wolves (6th) Spurs (16th) and Newcastle (30th).
Just read Dani Pachecho doesn't have a club. He's only 29. You'd wonder how many of the most promising teenagers from other countries, that came to Premier League clubs at 16 or 17 and got nowhere near reaching their potential....would have been better off staying where they were? I'm guessing above 80% but when you can guarantee yourself a huge sum of money,it's hard to make that decision. Countries like Holland and Spain are far better at developing young talent than England,Germany too but only Germany out of those 3 countries are successful in keeping their best young talent at home. Those new rules will be good for other countries and might force English clubs into developing more home grown players.
A good read on the situation. https://theathletic.com/2239555/202...sfer-rules/?amp#click=https://t.co/aL2Dfdw73H
Here's who we can get in the draw...Atletico, BMG, Porto, Sevilla, Lazio, Barca, Leipzig...we are easily better than all of them but then we were against Atletico last year and still got beat. Wouldn't mind Porto or Lazio, especially nice to see Lucas back at Anfield.
