I just got the treaty utd match for tomorrow so far, on league of ireland group chat page on facebook it seemed unanimous that there are no replays on watchloi Seemed to be differing ideas of how good the streaming was, if that's down to some having better internet than others or what I don't know
Streamed both Longford Town games on it and thought it was decent enough. It's no frills but more than adequate.
buzzing with that treaty result, I feared it might be a few weeks without picking up a point. 2 games in a point and 3 from 2 games we finished with 10 men. wow. I came in to this thread with one eye near shut, just going to watch rovers dundalk now after staying away from what happened all night so that will be me logging out
No bounce before it goes in makes it even better. Technically outstanding player. Would worry if he ever hit his full potential.
Great interview with Roddy Collins on the Second Captains podcast. Very heavy on "some of the details may have been exaggerated/made up to improve story" but still well worth a listen.
Roddy is from ten doors up hes a brilliant character but definitely spins a yarn. Great fella and an even better pint That side he built where my hero's, used to stand outside Clarkes bakery looking in on them having their lunch, Crowe, Hunt, Nesovic, Caffè, Sparky, Toccy, Simon Webb, shaun Maher, Davy Hill Dave Morrison. Jesus takes me back to my childhood. Great memories.
The life of a Drogheda United supporter summed up in tonight's game. Worked our absolute bollox off and concede a 95th minute goal to lose 1-0 against the champions. Absolutely gutted. It's not all about the ESL lads!
My word Bohs are awful. Have one competent centre half at the club. Ball like a hot potato. Lambs to the slaughter Friday.
I wouldn't be over worried about Tallaght on Friday Shane. We are not playing particularly well, getting the results with last gasp winners/equalisers, but we start so slowly and don't put away the chances created. I wouldn't be surprised if yous beat us, equally, I wouldn't be surprised if its a draw (with a late equaliser from us of course ) Don't get me wrong, I'm not exactly bitching over our results, we are joint top somehow, and we could have the old adage, not playing well but still winning. And when the team clicks, it could spell a proper hiding for a few teams, Its just, I'd rather play well and win
Yous played well, very impressed with the fitness and work rate of your lads. Definitely, a hard one to take for yous. As the game wore on, there only looked like one winner, but when Greene missed an open goal I thought the chance had gone. Needless free kicks given away by drogs cost yous in the end. Must mention, Tim Clancy's Mother passed away over the weekend, and all condolences go to Tim and his family. so it must have been a particularly tough time for him to get the lads ready and be focused. Top man is Tim, got to know him a bit in his brief stay at the Hoops a couple of years ago. Yous have a good one in your ranks there. R.I.P. Peggy
I didn't know about Tim's mum. RIP. We are a young team. Had a 19 year old starting in CM last night. I'm very happy with the performances this season. Two last minute defeats to both Pats & Rovers. You can take the positives from that. Big match at the weekend. I hope that last night's match hasn't taken too much out of us. 3rd last is still the target and I still thinks that it comes down to us, Harps, Derry, Longford & Waterford. We just need to finish above two of them!!
Her funeral is today Didn't see the game but heard Rovers were lucky to get the win. Pat's and sligo kept up their good starts Bohs to turn it around on Friday @Shane_90 ?
My brother in law and his mate are doing a podcast on the league I'd anyone wants to have a listen It's called Friday I'm in loive It's him and a lad he works with who's moved here from London trying to learn about the league and see if he can fall in love with a team here.
