Enjoy the big occasion tonight rovers fans. I'm really looking forward to watching it, it's making me miss following limerick as well though and the good days of going all over the country. At least you'll see European ties again it might be years before we have a senior men's team to support around here. Best of luck to dundalk tonight as well
Big win for dundalk tonight I forgot it was even on so busy watching Liverpool in my local for the first time in what felt like about ten years. Hopefully dundalk follow it up with another big win next week but either way they've done great getting this far
They are at home in nxt tie to a team from faroe islands, they have to fancy there chances now of getting through to Europa League. Be great to see
Reading the news today seems to say if Dundalk get into the group stage its worth between 3m & 5m. Nice payday.
Disappointing performance from Sheriff on Thursday. Ki from the Faroe Islands beat Dinamo Tiblisi 6-1 so I'm hoping that they hammer Scumdalk on Thursday. Great win for Drogheda away in Bray last night.
I understand there's rivalry between clubs, but I hope most people are behind all Irish clubs in Europe. The financial benefit for the league would be massive if any of them got to a group stage.

Thankfully, I can never speak for Dundalk fans. I can speak english for a start! But I can say that I hope that they never win another game again. Ever. I'd be surprised if Rovers or Bohs fans felt any differently about their rivals. It's at that level. The difference is that we don't, at least, have to live in that awful shinner border shithole.
I didn't realise it was on the shamrock rovers and bohs level. So most don't care about the circumstances they would always want their rivals beaten. Enjoy the speaking English
Some great games this weekend. Bohs game was crazy 2 goals in the last 2 minutes to win it. And as much as it pains me to say it great performance from Rovers, one hand on the title now.
UOTE="Liverpool-law, post: 1160965, member: 511"]3 years on from winning the double, Cork City look set for relegation.[/QUOTE] It would take 2020 and an 18 games league for that to happen them wouldn't it
What happened them? They went from being the 2nd best team in the league to shite, almost over night.
I wouldn't be an expert on them bobby, there are probably more on here who would know better, but it was a combination of maintaining at above their ability for a good while before collapsing, not replacing their best players who left, losing out on european money, not keeping faith in Caulfield, and complete lack of confidence. I'd be hugely surprised if they stayed up at this point.
