Not sure what the right forum is for this so if someone can move it elsewhere then excellent. Anyway, this is online now if anyone is that way inclined. Just watching it now, it is very very good, highly recommended so far.
The man deserves a Sainthood. The respect i have for this man is too great to put into words. KENNY YNWA.
It's a superb production. I saw it before but watched it again tonight. My wife, who is a sideline follower of football, was in tears. She had no idea of the contribution that Kenny and Marina have made to Liverpool since 1977 but particularly since 1989. How we don't have Sir Kenny and Lady Marina is astonishing.
Agreed DG re the honours. That malarkey doesnt exercise me too much butvthere must be some reason for it, when you see some of the muppets thst are now Sirs.
I don't expect that Kenny and Marina would be the type to court honours but it would be a tribute to their work generally to a community that was badly let down by the establishment and Thatcher's Britain. There are many many dedicated and brilliant people who campaigned over the years for justice and it is, of course, almost impossible to honour them all. Watching it again on Saturday reminded me again of the pressure that Kenny was under for the years post 1989. How he managed it all (with his family's support) is astonishing.
