Everyone was class today, but for me hendo motm, superb captain.
Agreed thought was absolutely magnificent
What a player, again take for granted. Playing in cb and been very good.
Agree - and maybe shouldn't ask this but could he have done better on their goal?
Did ball not hit of robbo head? Took away from Phillips, and ox was watching his man run score a header. Correct me wrong
He has been superb playing cb.. Made a lung bursting run for Mo's 2nd goal, he was rite there behind him when he scored. Super Captain
I was like look at him legging it up the pitch. Don't pull a hamstring
Hendo looks set to miss the next 5 games. He'll b a massive loss.
like someone else already said on here why did we agree to bringing the chelsea match FORWARD. surely april 20/21st when neither team have c l commitments should have been the time to push for this match being played. still though it could be worse, captain fantastic back just in time for quarter final first leg and might well lead us to winning it again
I used to ignore rumours and just wait for official confirmation, but with how often rumours have turned out to be true this season, I'm fearing the worst for Henderson. The rumour by the way is he's gone for the season.
Of course he is, the cherry on the cake.
And so is top 4 and any chance of winning the CL.
Yes read the rumour as well that it's serious and an operation required. Seems to be a lot of muscle injuries. Wondering if it's down to the amount of football being played with no real break as opposed this idea our medical people are poor.
It is 100% due to there being a lot of football and no real breaks for players. Muscular injuries are up a massive 42% when compared to last season (figures from October 23rd via The Athletic).
BBC report from November 24th focusing on just the Premier League states the increase in muscular injuries is 23% compared to last year. (it seems BBC are confused as it mentions muscle injuries but the figures are for all injuries)
Playing CB can't be good for someone like hendo, he's not built for long periods of standing/walking/jogging and then the occasional burst of pace, not surprised at all he got injured the way he did.
Massive blow if he is gone for the season.
He is a huge loss.
Assessments are still being carried out so the situation will become clearer in the coming days but four to six weeks has been regarded as the best-case scenario and there are fears it will be longer. Given the nature of groin injuries, this raises doubts over the remainder of the season and perhaps causes Gareth Southgate concern ahead of this summer’s delayed Euro 2020 tournament.
At this point I just want to put a huge asterix beside our name in the league table
in the small print at the bottom * - oh just fcuk off
Its looking like another true rumour babbs.. Just no luck at all this season with injuries.
You can be sure we won't see him again this season! I'm more and more open to the idea of scratching off this season as time goes on.
