I think I need to clarify what I initially said. I think we should have won because I expect our players to take at least one of the chances we created. And if we had of,given the fact we restricted them to a few half chances,we'd of been calling it a professional performance that got the job done. This doesn't mean Everton didn't deserve a point as we didn't do our job in front of goal.

I didn't see any of the first 60 mins. But when Rice came on, Hendo and Barkley were just standing there watching him. It must have been like playing beside Iniesta. A big loss for Ireland not having Rice in our squad. Hopefully Liverpool will sign Rice!

Getting a lot of praise for his performance last night but what I find is when sections of the media do that with him, they list his qualities as if it's some sort of new phenomenon and not just what hes been doing week in week out for years. He's often had better games and been criticised by many of the same journalists but the more creative players did their jobs last night. Certain players get judged by whether other players do their job well enough but it is what it is and isn't going to change at this point. It is nice to see that a few of them have noticed his ability to inject tempo into a game, better late than never I suppose.

He'll never not get loads of criticism and the performances that see him getting praise in the media just make those people even more angry.

Theres a couple of sites/articles that specialize in negative "reporting".
Theres several in particular that pops up on NewsNow (used to be able to block specific feeds on there but buggered if I can figure out how to now) that no matter what happens in a game will only publish the comments and tweets that slaughter a specific player and always call for it to be the last game he ever plays for Liverpool.
Those are the sites that generally ask our "opinion" on if signing Messi/Bale or equally unrealistic targets is what Klopp should be doing in the next window. One (Kopspot I think) suggested last week that we should sell Salah in the summer to make room for Dybala, and agree to sell Mane to Real as long as we got Isco and a few bob in return.
Their link to reality is tenuous at best.

As the song goes - "haters gonna hate hate hate...."

Hopefully won't be used and will be available for selection to us during the games ahead.

Didnt just grab the game by the scruff of the neck - he reached down its throat, grabbed it by the tonsils, yanked 'em out and stomped on them.

Unreal intensity shown after he came on, delighted for him and hope he carries that into Tuesday night.
