Arnold 3 part docu series on Netflix is well worth a watch. He basically had 3 completely separate careers. Going to go back and watch some of his movies again.
Don’t know if this is mentioned here already or not. Started watching The Lincoln Lawyer and a few episodes in very good watch
Yes, watched this and enjoyed it. Season 2 has just finished and also very good. Also, I think I heard that the Lincoln lawyer is Harry Bosch's half brother in TV land! - (Bosch is also a very good watch).
Watched that Gabby Petito murder documentary series on Netflix. It’s a sad story for sure however the last few of these type of shows I have watched are well dragged out.
Netflix have an awful habit of making too many episodes. People would enjoy a 2 or 3 part documentary that doesn't drag the arse out of a story, more than 5 or 6 part series that does.
enjoyed it too, as remember the story from the news most of these shows repeat the same drone footage every few mins for butter never forget making a murderer season 2. They must or spent an hour over the series with same drone shot of the prison, used every few mins
That making a murderer is a prime example. Something like 10 episodes, now it's a mad case but surely 2/3 episodes is more than enough time to fit it all in. I have watched WW2 docs that have had less than 10 episodes.
Drive to Survive one of the best things ever to come on Netflix. The beef between the heads of the teams is better than any Soap Opera.
Surviving Black Hawk Down is a serious watch, You’d think it would all be about the US troops but they also have the Somalian side. Mad footage and interviews from those involved on both sides.
Every time I see or hear about films or documentaries being made about American military operations in other countries, it reminds me of the Frankie Boyle joke "Not only will America come to your country and kill your people, but they'll come back 20 years later and make a film about how killing your people made their soldiers feel sad"
