I'm afraid not mate, I'd the same question a few years back, if boxer fails to answer the bell for the next round, his opponent shall be deemed to have won the contest in the previous round. Link below but all bookies are the same, never seen anything different to this

Cheers mate. I didn't have a bet but there were rumours flying around about a fight a few weeks back that it was going to end in the 4th and the fighter gave up after the third. The lad I was talking to said his mates were betting on it and I was just wondering if they'd of gotten paid.

Yeah there were some fair points in it about how barbaric it was but Brolly flew off on a tangent then to try and make it seem so much worse than it actually is, the references to Django unchained were totally ludicrous and it was very cringey reading his little anecdote about the courtroom, he obviously sees himself in the Mathew McConnaughey role. He's absolutely entitled to his opinion on this and he is entitled to call for it to be banned but I'm not sure that a national newspaper needs to be giving him a platform for his agenda.

Also if he's so outraged by this sport what is he doing letting his 13 year old son stay up until 5 in the morning to watch it.

I am not a massive follower of UFC. Actually watched it more before McGregor was involved.

Watched the weigh ins last week and everyone was very respectful apart from the main events participants. There was one fighter acting like a tool but not insulting.

Most of the fights I watched over the years are pretty brutal but the folks involved are into it and it’s what they have chosen to do with their lives. Did find a few hard to watch as some lad gets the head hammered off him and refuses to give up.

The problem for the UFC and also Boxing more recently is that to get people’s attention across all other sports and entertainment is the need for publicly. A storyline is created to build up fights for years at times, we saw with Haye and Bellew that it was completely fake as they hugged afterwards.

Tyson Fury and McGregor have taken it to a new level with the insults and what previously was for show has now turned very real and someone could get seriously hurt.

Saw some Crawford lad at a boxing weigh In at the weekend in US almost take his opponents head off after he was pushed at the weigh in. The lad managed just avoid him.

As for Brolly, you only have to look at the scenes at some club games in Derry to see far worse than the few slaps after they McGregor fight. He was one of the most obnoxious players ever to play GAA and have no doubt would been the lightning rod for many a mass brawl

Thanks for that. Enjoyed that, even if I’m not a fan of ufc.

Interesting points about chess and humility/attitude mixed in with inspiring youth participants.

Weidman v Souza was good last night . Disapponinted in the DC v Lewis fight. Thought Lewis would have offered more.

Yea good win for Jacare, no coming back wen you get hit on the temple. I was impressed again with Adesanya too, he look the real deal in that division.
DC Lesner fight will surely be next, can only see one winner there again (DC). I'd prefer to see him fight Jon Jones before he retires but it looks unlikely now

Over the past year or so I’ve grown to like DC a lot more and when I sat back and looked at his accomplishments it’s unreal actually.

Regarding the lesnar fight, it’s the money fight but you have to feel for Stipe who hasn’t got his rematch .

Anyone watch Tito v Chuck 3?
It was horrible. Really hard to watch.
Chuck looked like he was fighting in slow motion and also looked like he was limping before he even got in the cage.
Really sad to see someone risking their life for a paycheck like that.
He's been on the wrong end of a bad ko a few times and at 48 years old, I'd hate to think of the damage this latest one has caused.

Cracking card last night. Really enjoyed the Santos v Manua fight and if you like big shots this one is for you.

Gunni had a good win too and the blood in that fight was nasty. It was like a river .

Delighted for Valentina too. I don’t like JJ as she comes across as a bully. Well she did against Rose.

What can I say about the main event. Excellent fight . One of the best I’ve seen all year .

Cowboy was excellent last night. Really enjoyed that fight . Love his style and most of his fights are very enjoyable.

Fair play to Henry. Class finish. I think he is fairly underrated.

PVZ had a good win too. Took me a couple of go’s to see the tap. Also what was the heavyweight at with the illegal shot.

Really enjoyed Silva’s fight at the weekend. Some of the kicks and punches in the fight were great to watch. Pity it wasn’t a 5 rounder.
