Enjoyed Keanes rant on Bruno especially with Beville sitting there quiet as a mouse. It's been a glorious 12 years. Couldn't have gone any worse for them.

Watched the final yesterday in the Woolshed. Good enough atmosphere about it but nothing compared the Internacional fans who packed the place for game against Gremio straight after, they all left and were replaced by Corinthians fans who had flags/banners and all sorts for their game with Palmeries. The two games were poison but felt you were watching in Brazil. That place does some trade.

It's Rui Costa's birthday so there's videos all over social media of him. I forgot how lovely a player he was. Players like him and Baggio get very little coverage when it comes to nostalgia, it's always Zidane,Ronaldo,Gerrard,Scholes,Maldini etc. but thats all gotten a bit boring. Might be an idea for a thread. Under appreciated players from the past.

The Baggio film/ documentary is a great watch if you haven’t seen it. His father was so hard on him. A brilliant player . His time at Brescia was brilliant . A real fairytale for a couple of seasons.

Ruben Amorim now officially has a worse points record at Man United than Roy Hodgson’s Liverpool in 2010

    That's fair embarrassing

At United I think 90% of that squad know they are not in the managers plans for next season if he had his way, with their wages he won’t be able to bin them
All, They seem to be able to get up for the odd big game however it reminds me more of when Houllier took over full time from Evans. Just a case of hobbling to end of the season and starting again. LFC finished 7th but out of Europe and 2-2 draw with United was like winning a trophy. 14 defeats and 54 points. Massive influx of new signings following summer

I read we haven't finished below 8th in 64 years. That's seriously impressive.

Maybe I'm alone in this but the enjoyment in Man Utd defeats has gone right out of me. Probably because the games are such non entities and I don't bother watching them.

They could be in the National League. I’d still look out for there results and hope they get humped.
I don’t watch them either or any other team except for the Reds or games that might affect them. Like Arsenal games earlier in the season.

Yeah it’s mad that even at lowest ebb through the 30 years before the title, never finishing lower than 8th is not bad considering some of the dross that played in the first team at times :D

Everton fan who stole food handed indefinite ban
An Everton fan who stole food at the first test event at the clubs new stadium, and posted it on social media, has been given an indefinite ban from attending all Everton matches

An Everton spokesperson confirmed: “Following enquiries into a social media clip showing clear theft of food during the first test event at Everton Stadium (17 February 2025), a 62-year-old male from the Rainhill area was identified as being responsible.

“The matter was referred to Merseyside Police and the individual has been dealt with by means of an out-of-court disposal.

"As part of this resolution, he has agreed to make a donation equivalent to the cost of the stolen items (£12.75) to Everton in the Community.

“In line with the club’s zero-tolerance approach to such behaviour, the individual has also been issued with an indefinite ban from Everton Football Club and his seasonal membership has been revoked.

"The club will continue to work with local authorities and event staff to ensure that all visitors to Everton Stadium can enjoy a safe, respectful, and welcoming environment.”

I remember seeing the clip posted on twitter at the time. What an idiot

Harsh? Yes, but it might be necessary in the current world,in order to stick up for your workers. Its a tough job, and all these idiots around these days looking for views and likes on social media, don't care about that. They're happy to make those people's workday even shitter for content. That's without people who treat hospitality staff like shite because they've no respect for them in general. I hope the ban is lifted on the quiet after a season or so,but I wouldn’t be giving Everton stick for this.

Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti expected to leave club after Copa del Rey final on April 26; Spanish giants suffered Champions League quarter-final exit to Arsenal and are four points behind LaLiga leaders Barcelona; Ancelotti could be appointed new Brazil head coach before end of season

Strange decision if happens with them still in a title race and Barcelona still to play
