You could see in the pissing rain 2 weeks ago they're a team going in the right direction. They'll be trouble for anybody in Ulster or championship
that's some tennis racket on brolly. another battle of omagh, some bounce back from tyrone after last week.
Tyrone will go nowhere in the Championship playing that style of football. Too limited upfront even with McShane playing. It hasn’t worked for the last 10 years. Would love to see Mickey go and fresh tactics employed. The difference Joyce has made in Galway by ditching the blanket and letting them express themselves
Fair auld Skirmish at half time in Tyrone Dublin game. Could be a few bans coming of that. Interesting motion yesterday where it leaves the possibility of Dublin having two games outside the capital in Super 8s (presuming they qualify). Should have been done years ago. Big game for Monaghan in Ballybofey today. Could see a draw there
Dublin have no problem going on the road. It’s the financial hit the GAA will take as a result of it.
only right, there should be only 1 croke park game for each team in the super 8's, hopefully now the DCB insist on playing the "home" game in parnell park.
Probably won't due to the capacity issues. Always loved going to Parnell for the league games years ago. Proper atmosphere.
Stupid question maybe, but if they had no problem doing the same as the other 31 counties then why haven't they been doing it all along?
once ST's and PP pass holders are sorted (which they would be) I can't see it being a problem. if the other 7 teams are getting a home game so should Dublin, if they get there of course. thank jaysus dermo wasn't in that tunnel at HT last night, he'd be in the joy now.
Yeah I'm a PP holder too. The hurling game against Galway was such a fantastic atmosphere in Parnell last year.
good article in the indo yesterday, 2 bits that jumped out at me were, https://www.independent.ie/sport/ga...its-inbuilt-bias-towards-dublin-39001351.html
Monaghan got a good hiding today so can’t see us beating Kerry but it is a unpredictable division so never know Monaghan have Meath last game at home so a win or draw there would put us safe I’d say
Hard to know how much weather conditions have played a part in this year's football league but its making for a very competitive one. Still hard to call the final.
How the GAA allow the league matches to be played in the winter and the mostly shit provincials next played in the height of summer. The top 2 of the league after playing each other home and away should play and the winner plays for Sam. have the provincial games in the bogs of pitches in Jan/Feb/March.
Might be too many games playing home and away but need to do something. Playing away in Kerry and mayo should be for more than 2 points for the national league when no one really cares once you don’t get relegated.
